  1. Frightening night in Orlando for the Solar Bears.
  2. Honestly, even though he won those 2 Cups with the Lions, I would say he's one of those rare players that have two right teams. He did spend a lot of good years playing for the Riders. Rider fans might want to forget about him for missing that kick.
  3. This is more fitting for the players on the right team, wrong uniform thread.
  4. It looks like the Vancouver Giants have ditched the Flyers-inspired alternates for a previous alternate jersey.
  5. I really hate how just because one jersey maker does something, everyone else seems to have to follow. Nike had the rounded hem, so Reebok has to do it. Adidas with the wide, weird collar, now CCM has to do it. The laces are completely pointless, why even have them? I was hoping that with CCM now out from under Adidas' hands, they can actually go back to making jerseys great again. I guess not.
  6. Carmelo Anthony will never actually wear it, but still can't believe he got his full salary in a buy out and still wanted a jersey.
  7. Iconic as it might be, the Montreal Canadiens white jersey isn't that great due to the lack of striping on the sleeves. There's too much of nothing going on between the numbers and red cuff. They should switch to the white version of the home reds. If the Leafs and Bruins can do it, so can the Habs.
  8. Ah, minor league baseball. Where you expect it to be one thing and it ends up completely something different. Definitely was not expecting a rocking chair to be in the logo.
  9. It probably doesn't need to be on the back since it is on the front, but I get why it's there. What I don't get is why the Titans have 2 Memorial Cup 100 patches, one on the sleeve and the other on the front. It's also stupid that the Memorial Cup 100 patch has Mastercard on it. What should have happened was all the teams got rid of the 100 patch and simply replaced them with the Regina Memorial Cup patch instead.
  10. That looks wrong, but not because he's in that baseball uniform. With that thick mustache, it almost doesn't look like Lebron.
  11. It was a one time thing for an all-star game held in Philadelphia. I don't know whether Dr. J knew about it or not, but it does appear that Dr. J was a bit of a mentor to Iverson, which is probably why he did it. http://www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/the700level/watch-highlights-allen-iversons-classic-hall-fame-speech
  12. Except he did it as a tribute to Dr. J. He wanted to let out his braids too and go with a big afro.
  13. Gone, but not forgotten. This banner hangs at the Bell Centre. Just found out today.
  14. Their best years came in the current set. Henrik and Daniel won back to back scoring titles; Henrik won the Hart; Daniel the Ted Lindsey the next year; they went to the Final. In the original Orca set, they were good players, not great, and they were guys that were also ridiculed by Canuck fans who came up with a drinking game for every time they would fall.
  15. Ray Bourque started out wearing number 7, but switched to 77 when they retired it for Phil Esposito's.
  16. With Daniel Sedin (right) joining his brother, Henrik, in the 1000th point club, I would say that their biggest success has come in the current set.
  17. Dude played 4 games for the Canadiens and he's in the wrong uniform? Come on. I know you're heart broken, but maybe Drouin will be a top superstar. That PK Subban trade though...
  18. Petr Nedved defected to Canada from Czechoslovakia in 1989 and eventually became a Canadian citizen, playing for Canada at the 1994 Olympics. He became eligible to play for the Czech Republic again after playing in the Czech league for 6 years and played in the 2012 World Championships and 2014 Olympics. He did play for them at the 1996 World Cup because it wasn't an IIHF event.
