I like that the Hitmen were paying homage to the Best There Is, The Best There Was, and The Best There Every Will Be, but I think they tried to cram too much elements onto the sleeves and socks. Move the star onto the shoulder on one side while keeping the oversize anniversary logo on the other, and either have the flames or the stripes on the socks, not both.

I really don't get the carbon fiber collar or how it squares off at the bottom. The square patch doesn't make sense either, since no team uses it. Before when it was Reebok, it made sense to have it there no matter what. But, not any more with the different template. Outside of the NHL, does anyone know if any team or league that has ever utilize it someway?

I don't know if Abbotsford can truly support the AHL, but the Flames setting up shop in Canucks' territory was always bound to fail. Their best crowds were when the Utica Comets came into town, so it's possible the Canucks could make it work.

Kinda weird the Canucks would consider putting their farm team in the Pacific Coliseum instead of the building they already own. Why pay rent when you don't need to? The Leafs don't own the Coca-Cola Coliseum where the Marlies play, but they do run it.
