  1. New Era said to hell with the templated batting practice hats of the past four years.... This may be the most conversational line of BP hats...good for New Era...there a couple more out there that are unlike any other BP hat we've seen in a long while. So far every BP cap leaked has had some bit of a throwback or jersey element. edit: That new Orioles hat must be the new BP hat (no ST patch and a retro element). I sort of hate posting it because I'm sure the seller will get some notice and it'll get taken down this weekend before all are revealed.
  2. They did that in the 2010s during the Diamond Era material phase…wouldn’t be surprised if they bring it back. edit: Scheels took down the BP hats from their site, lol whoops. Full drop next week guaranteed.
  3. Simpler would probably be better. The sleeve stripes are supposed to look like the exterior blue-white-red-white-blue lights of MSG (as the lights highlight the home blue jersey stripes)
  4. The sleeve stripes are royal-white-red-white-royal for a specific reason though
  5. Broncos will definitely have new jerseys - Fanatics is liquidating current supply of blank navy and orange sets. Not sure about a new logo. If a new logo is coming, we’ll see it on the draft hats that usually drop in late March. If not, we’ll see teasers in April.
  6. Recolored for the Clubhouse hats (same with Rays’ ray logo). A normal colored logo has been used on the Angels Clubhouse hats since 2020. It’s a poorly rendered logo by New Era. Compare the state outline to the logo on the mothership and it’s obvious. And they should have made the halo silver if they were into recoloring it. The Angels throwback jerseys should have the normal California patch on one of the sleeves.
  7. The smaller crowned Twins 39thirty BP looks far better than the huge crowned 59fifty. Perhaps a different version is coming for ST but this is just a miss in my book
  8. The Rockies’ hat would be much better without the pinstripes. The MLB Clubhouse hats - so far - aren’t as fun as past years’ versions, which featured a lot of throwback logos. This year it looks like mostly current logos: https://www.scheels.com/search?q=2024 clubhouse hat&start=0&sz=24
  9. This is a new alternate hat for the Orioles (perhaps in addition to being a ST hat, as this original picture does have a waffle mesh texture to it when you really zoom in on it ) A better picture of a 9Fifty snapback on X/Twitter shows the material is regular poly, not ST/BP mesh material. Assuming there's a 59fifty with poly too. (updates made here to original post)
  10. I realize I'm quoting myself here, but this might be the first year in a while where we have two different lines of hats for ST and BP This Padres ST hat was leaked today: I found this Padres BP hat on eBay (listed as 2024 Batting Practice hat, and yes, that is the Padres gray/brown jersey color as the front bell panel) OR...the Padres will have two different hats for both BP and ST lol. It does seem like the ST hats are a bit more bright this year, so maybe that's the goal for spring.
  11. New ST/BP hats are on the way for 2024. Uni-Watch had an article about the first 7 or 8 that were leaked. Using a waffle material instead of trucker mesh. The waffle material is the same as was used on the 2020-22 Clubhouse hats (which is not a bad thing). https://uni-watch.com/2024/01/26/2024-mlb-spring-training-caps-begin-to-appear-online/ (I like this reversion back to the 1997/98 alt hat for the Red Sox ST/BP)
  12. I get the idea but a new home stadium doesn’t tie into a road jersey very much.
  13. The teal-brimmed Mariners hat is still one of the best in the league. Problem is they don’t wear it enough. If they do change, navy/process blue/lime/tiny bit of red like the Everett Aqua Sox would be pretty good
  14. Yeah - to echo this, I’m gonna guess that a metallic blue helmet for the Canucks (like NY Giants metallic blue) would look better than chrome.
  15. They already have endzones and stadium signage with the 80s logo. Not that anyone cares: I’m looking forward to these unis. The white set with the metallic helmet looks fantastic. The 80s logo still works on a helmet. They could always bring in a Namath era throwback as an alternate.
  16. Ok fair. He always seemed more comfortable in a polo his last 20 years of coaching.
  17. I'm not sure Don Shula ever wore a suit and tie on the sidelines and his career seemed to go okay
  18. Not sure if Nike’s going to create front number fonts for teams that have them for replica jerseys
  19. Maybe nothing: All Broncos Nike game jerseys on Fanatics have been reduced by 30-40%; the Seahawks and Titans jerseys are still full price, as are Texans and Lions (to be expected for the playoffs). Edit: apparently only men’s and kids’ sizes have been reduced for Denver? After more inspection, this could be an inventory issue (and it looks like a blank jersey liquidation, which seems to mean new design is on the way). For men, all orange jerseys are unavailable in size large, and all navy jerseys are only available for 3XL…which pretty much means every jersey sold these days is numbered after the purchase. https://www.fanatics.com/?query=nike game jersey broncos&_ref=p-DLP:m-SEARCH
  20. If Texas Tech is switching to adidas then I think any new UA jerseys are out of the picture.
  21. Weird to see three new alternate jerseys all have circle crests (Ducks/Lightning/Sharks). Seems like that's the new trending theme. Also...I realize alt NHL jerseys were introduced in Jan '96 (IIRC), but it sure seems weird to wait a half a season and then say "Oh yeah...by the way...here's our new jersey for a few games this year".
  22. Are you saying the font is off or the numbers weren't there last year? Keep in mind these are still replica jerseys (and as you noted, photoshopped).
  23. The weirdest part is him saying Nike has been working on this new logo for the Broncos for five years. Not sure how a digital printer in Ohio would know that information...and not sure how that length of time would be possible with the Broncos' ownership change, especially with the surveys only going out in 2022. It's possible but not likely. If Nike designers are telling third-party digital printers (who aren't stakeholders in Nike) that a new design is in the works five years in advance, then it seems like a weird situation for the designers. The NDA stuff...meh...Jesse isn't disclosing anything proprietary. Reddit posters think NDAs force people to not talk about it at all, and that's not 100% true, so the comments on Reddit about this are hilariously off base (if anyone happens to read them). Does anyone know if the one sheets/logo slicks are actually sent out in January by the NFL?
