  1. From a reliable collectible site that has never let me down in the past: Placeholders for "2023 Alternate helmets" are Broncos, Browns, Colts, Eagles, Lions. Maybe more to come (such as Seahawks and Bucs). Have to assume Eagles is the throwback but no mention of that in the description. Hoping the Broncos is the throwback and not a white or orange option. Mods can DM me to validate; just don't want to get this seller/company in trouble.
  2. The charcoal really adds nothing to the overall look. Doesn't offer any real contrast with the green and black. Just a pointless color.
  3. The stripes weren't evenly spaced, had the weird cross-stripes, and SMU tried the Northwestern stripes on the shoulders years earlier and that didn't work out, either.
  4. Fanatics has red Chiefs’ Kelce and custom jerseys on its website. Eagles are all gray fashion, which could mean everything sold out, or it’s a supply issue.
  5. I’d say the NC State one is an upgrade. The shoulder stripes are/were really gimmicky.
  6. These are pretty bad. It almost looks like a collar logo on a jersey missing a wordmark.
  7. Maybe bring this hat back. ______________________________________________ And I appreciate the comments here about the 2023 hats...but except for the Twins...these are the exact same ST/BP hats as 2022. Hopefully 2024 brings some new designs and they get rid of the trucker mesh.
  8. The sleeves are just going to be a mess.
  9. Also the 20th anniversary of the 2003 WS; hopefully they bring out the 93 set instead of the black/white/silver/speck-of-teal 2003 home jersey.
  10. Marlins posted this a couple of days ago on Twitter, and many noticed the same thing in the replies... the Marlins have a pinstriped jersey on the truck to Jupiter...although the front is hidden, I don't think it's a Hammerheads jersey:
  11. I wish that (Anaheim) Angels hat was available in the 39thirty
  12. Haven't first-and-third base line ads become somewhat regular under Manfred's tenure? Selig wasn't perfect by any means, but at least he rejected a huge amount of ad creep on the field and his legacy will be better because of it. Manfred's job is to increase league revenues and protect the integrity of the game but there has to be a better way than this :censored:. The scary thing to ponder is what will happen after the Sinclair/streaming issues are resolved.
  13. Discussion about white socks not looking good with white pants does get a bit tedious at the end of 20 weeks. We don’t have to recreate a dead horse just to beat it time and time again.
  14. The Diamondbacks never had a panel/regular mismatch, but they did have hats that didn't match the batting helmet in the purple/teal set. I feel like there's a couple other teams that had similar mismatches. edit: The 80s White Sox had the white panel hats with the navy blue/redbrimmed helmets. The Rockies for a stretch in the 2010s had black hats and metallic purple helmets. The 70s Pirates had yellow helmets with black hats. The Nats have held onto the red batting helmets while the home hats have shifted to the white paneled dome version.
  15. I loved this look when I was a kid living in Big 8 country (and yes I know Michigan's 80s jerseys were very similar). Here though it looks like the number font's not quite correct, as compared to the actual 80s set. I can't find anything from the 80s that shows Mizzou wearing Stahl's varsity block.
  16. Matchup would look better if both jerseys had similar sized crests (either huge or regular). The Caps jersey is pretty nice.
  17. This is the best answer - keep the complementary strips/lanes, just take off the college markings.
  18. Very bizarre, and I'm not a fan of this approach, especially for high school.
  19. Harold Reynolds was wearing one this morning on Hot Stove to showcase the new jersey.
  20. Batting practice hats all look to be white-panel trucker hats with secondary color under-brim: https://www.mlbshop.com/?pageSize=72&sortOption=NewestArrivals&query=batting practice (the Angels underbrim looks to be black, which is probably a mistake) edit: It looks like Spring Training hats are the same as 2022, but with 2023 logos on the right side:
  21. Lol, Just lol. Showing how basic math works is “bootlicking” now. Take some :censored:ing xanax. Never defended anything Providence did in my post. You literally have no idea what my thoughts are regarding their service. They have an incredibly diverse executive board, which is hard to hate. The Chief Medical Officer at Providence is a woman from Lebanon. Kaiser has met every need my wife and I have had for nearly a decade but apparently that makes me a bad person in tankieworld.
  22. Fair…but you have to think he, too, had some input on the color of it, no?
  23. How much should the CEO make based on your math? Why does this CEO salary mean it’s not really a non-profit? Non-profits means revenue=expenses. That’s it. It doesn’t mean executive salaries are capped. In the real world, $11.5M is pretty cheap for a company with more than $20 billion in annual revenues. If you were to give $11.0M to the rest of Providence’s 120,000 employees, each person would get an extra $80.00-$100.00 a year ($8-9 a month) at best. A company with 120,000 employees with, say, an average salary of $60,000 (which is probably low) would have a yearly labor bill of $7.2B
