I'm no football genius, but I think Caleb Williams may end up being pretty good. -

Listen, I didn't even watch the game, just a clip on Reddit. I own my biases, so I call it as I want it to have been. -

I just saw the play because I missed it live. Pat Mahomes will always get that call, while that specific play generally doesn't get called at most any other game. The DB was behind the receiver, who still had every ability to catch the ball. If there's an iffy call at the end of a Chiefs game, it's always going to go KC's way. Unless until Travis Kelce retires. -

Poor Bryce Young. Seems like enough guy, but he's also likely the worst #1 pick of all time. -
I'm not a huge college football traditionalist, but the Apple Cup happening in September feels really dumb. Also, there have been 19 penalties called, 13 against UW. Feels like an old Pac-12 After Dark game.

Is healthy Tua even that good? Is he worth all of this? -

There's nothing better than Aaron Rodgers looking sad on the sideline because he's old and he stinks. Tyrod Taylor is better than Aaron Rodgers and I hope he gets a chance to lead the team. -

Mahomes has that play where he fakes going out and then baits a penalty when someone hits him heading out of bounds. Kyler Murray just baited a personal foul sliding head first into a defender (that went over the top of him). QB foul-baiting plays need to be reviewable. -

What is the NFL getting from hosting games outside of the US? Do the host cities pay the league to be there? I generally get the idea behind growing the game and trying to help international audiences get hooked on football, but are you really able to do that 50,000 people at a time? American football is niche outside of the U.S. and it's taken MLS 25 years to be almost number 4 in the U.S., and that's partly off the backs of international talent taking a risk on a new league. How the NFL ever reasonably compete with soccer? Or basketball? Or volleyball? Or hurling or cricket or any of the ensconced sports in Europe, South America and Australia? Or, does the international series become a reason for the NFL to take Saudi and Dubai money? Because that would at least make more immediate sense. Everyone else is already doing it. -

Is my TV crap, or is the sound mix on this broadcast really bad? Feels like everything is at the same level -- field noise, commentary and the stadium announcer. I'm not a fan. -
Which is a shame because they should be there. But they also probably have the next 12 years on lock.

Remember Cold Pizza and The Best Damn Sports Show Period? They were pretty bad. -

I read that a part of Amazon's deal is they'd immediately put the first three years costs in escrow. I wonder if WBD had that kind of cash on hand; my guess is they don't and that was the breaking point. -
They definitely played like they were holding a grudge.
