I'm glad to see the NHL and EPL will still be on cable. Streaming live sports on Peacock is less than desirable.

I hope not but all of their coverage is bare bones now, so I wouldn't be surprised. I don't know where the Flyers, Phillies, and Sixers games would go though.

It reminds me of hats from the late 90s/early 2000s. I had a Seahawks one that streaked the blue and green in a S pattern. It may be that style of hat.

Maybe at the very least, we will get a moratorium on any bowl season expansion.

I was kind of hoping that COVID-19 would be the end of some of these pointless bowl games. Silly me, I forgot to realize that companies will throw millions of dollars at their feet.

South Florida has been doing it for a little while now so I feel that it's acceptable at this point for them. Aside from USF and Oregon, it shouldn't be used.

I didn't know Joe Montana almost played for the Expos! Kidding aside, I had no idea he played baseball, let alone, drafted by a major league baseball team. That means that the 1999 Michigan Wolverines had two baseball players behind center with Brady and Drew Henson.

Strangely, the league is becoming very purple heavy. So, while the colors are nice, it would have been nice to see some other colors. Maybe they will be primarily black. Also, the name is not very good. It doesn't fit with any other name in the league. I don't like the WFT naming convention. Lastly, this does look like a San Antonio team with the shape of the logo. Overall I'm not impressed.

To add to your fact, Robin Roberts, Phillies hall of fame pitcher, is the only pitcher in history to beat the Braves in those three cities.

The bottom line did serve a purpose in the 90s (I think that is when it was introduced) but, like you said, I have the internet and/or apps for that now right in the palm of my hand. The only real purpose is that it acts as a huge Disney ad at this point.

I have Xfinity so I get Peacock Premium for free. The quality of the streaming isn't nearly as good as the quality of watching it on cable. I don't stream a lot of sports so I can't speak for the normal quality of it all but I'm not a fan.

As a Penn State alum, I was hoping to be avenged for the heartbreaking loss to the Hoosiers. Now with this, I hope they get demolished so these things never see the light of day again.

I have been to Blue Claws games. It is a really nice experience and I am so glad that they are really embracing the Jersey Shore thing. -
I can tolerate sponsorships being part of the name but I loathe when the sponsorship is the name of the bowl game. The Taxslayer Bowl comes to mind. It was the Gator Bowl for years and thankfully, it is the Gator Bowl once again.
