The Reebok era version is better IMO. The Nike one has gotten stale.

Interesting Sports Facts and Statistics

This year will be the second time the Patriots play the Cardinals at Glendale, since 2016, second visit to State Farm Stadium (formerly University of Phoenix Stadium) other than their Super Bowl trips there. They didn't have to wait for 2024, 8 years roundabout, thanks to the 17th game schedule. Also, this will year will be Tom Brady's 4th visit to Glendale, as a Tampa Bay Buccaneer player. Since this thread was made 7 years ago and mentioned about that matter, I decided to post a nugget about it. -

You know the NFL schedule where a team is guaranteed to go to the stadium of the team from the opposite conference from them every 8 years? (Notwithstanding the 17th game that is now in place) And you know the modified west division pairings in 2010? When the league decided to spare teams from going to west coast teams twice when playing the AFC or NFC West. Most of the Cardinals and Seahawks AFC games aren't operating under the normal every 8 years routine. Their only AFC games that do are against the Chiefs and Raiders. -
Nice. Except I would be selling the jerseys of a different player instead of Wack Jones.

These were the days. Sorry if this is too much.

How many times will this be now for the Lions?

Color vs color games that people have forgotten

I remember a game when the Lakers wore their yellow uniform against the 76ers in the meeting in Philadelphia. What year was it? I think it was 2003. -
Players in the "wrong" uniforms

Russell Wilson in a Broncos uniform. He's going to look different in Denver than he did in Seattle. -
The humidity is the killer. That's the difference when the season shifts to winter. The humidity dies down in the winter season, but you still have to deal with the constant of the sun. Florida is very hot. Even in its cooler months, December-February, it isn't that cold. In October it could still feel like summer. I live in the state. I came to Florida in last August. Being here made me appreciate what it was like back where I was forced to leave. I formerly lived around the area where the Nike headquarter is. I see why the Bucs wore white for that game against the Panthers in the final week. Why the Jaguars switched to teal. Why the Dolphins wore white at home more than they did the previous five years.

Are the 49ers red 1994 uniform and the Browns 1946 white uniform going to return in 2022?
-
I wish they used those for throwbacks. I want to see something different once in a while.
-
Yes. This uniform matchup is outstanding.

I tried to find photos for the two games in 1995. There aren't that many for the preseason games for BUF and DAL. I saw this photo before. But I didn't remember the team and players on the field. Who was the home team for that game in Toronto? When they meet in 2023, I want the Bills to wear their whites, whether the throwbacks or regular whites, so that the Cowboys wear their navy blue. Buffalo is one of the teams that I want to come off the list of teams who haven't made Dallas wear the blue jersey, that came in 1996, at their stadium yet.

Would something that gets shown so much really be a throwback? -
People just love to complain.

None of the Cardinals concept for a new design are very good. I feel like people want change just for the sake of it.

These were the last two years where a team had something new. 2020 - Atlanta Falcons - Cleveland Browns - Indianapolis Colts - Los Angeles Chargers - Los Angeles Rams - New England Patriots - Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Washington Football Team 2021 - Cincinnati Bengals - Cleveland Browns - Detroit Lions - Green Bay Packers - Indianapolis Colts - Los Angeles Rams - New York Giants - San Francisco 49ers I didn't count the Jaguars for 2021 because it's just a color swap for the teal and black to exchange being the primary and alternate. 2020 and 2021 had a handful of uniform changes or additions. What does 2022 got? It will be interesting to see. So far it's the Washington Commanders identity and the Rams 4th uniform which they have left to reveal.

This is horrible. I'm more used to when certain teams like the Blazers wore black.

The real abomination is at Marvel studios.
