  1. Bismarck has been awarded a team as well. http://northwoodsleague.com/bismarckbaseballisback/
  2. Fish is the obvious choice for a Fond du Lac, but with the Kenosha Kingfish and Lakeshore Chinooks I think they should try a different direction. I like Trappers. The area is historically very important to the fur trade.
  3. I took the liberty of cleaning that logo up. I made a few changes, and may make some more and post over in concepts.
  4. So many members here have mixed that logo and the bills current logo and come up with something beautiful. The Bills had the answer right in front of them and couldn't get to it. It's a shame. The updated buffalo would have been nice.
  5. I've got a whole bunch of apparel with this logo on it. I love it, but I think it is wildly overrated.
  6. Minnesota United: More in depth here: http://www.slideshare.net/zeusjones/zeus-jones-mn-united-branding-46231620
  7. That logo was done by Fraser Davidson. Contact him.
  8. I've got a feeling the baseball was insisted upon by the team. The logo is very well done and I can't wait for the rest of the set.
  9. By Brandiose... (BIG OLD LOGO) It's nice. And no wheat-stock-swinging, armor-clad crow (or some other animal) in sight. I want to believe Brandiose won't release 10 logos, 14 mascots, and vendor costumes in the coming year. I want to believe.
  10. It's not perfect, and I've changed a few things, but this one has been out there for a while: I got lazy on the clenched fist and used Bucky Badger's.
  11. They're not quite the true to form updates that Ren has been doing, but here's my update: Great jobYou should post this as a stand alone concept. Way ahead of you.
  12. They're not quite the true to form updates that Ren has been doing, but here's my update:
  13. Thanks a bunch, if you come across any logos you think are in my wheelhouse feel free to message me. This thread is glorious.
  14. Hey Ren, noticed you were cool with others posting their updates, hope that stands for me as well.
  15. I'm going to have to up my game and actually complete a series to get in on this.
  16. I loved most of Brandiose's early work: the Thrashers, Drillers, Flying Tigers. But they're really starting to lose me. Everything has a toothy snarl, fists, and dozens of alt logos. They know what they're doing though, because the minor league teams are eating it up.
  17. This next image is from NFL Shop. If you are worried about the integrity of these 'counterfeit' jerseys then you should also be worried about 'official' jerseys as well. Turns out the Packers collar is not solid white. Seriously NFL, if you want to stop the counterfeiting, get your own together first.
  18. Quoted for truth. The monopoly on rights is exactly why the prices are so high. When true competition is allowed prices go down and quality goes up. A monopoly means that the major sports leagues can put as high of a price as they want on the jerseys so long as people still buy them. They take such issue with 'counterfeits' because they really put a stitch in the side of their monopoly. Sure they can say, make similar products with the same colors, people will buy them, but the fact of the matter is authentic jerseys are what the consumer wants. Nobody wants a k-mart shiny t-shirt in place of an authentic jersey. They do not hold a monopoly on team apparel, they hold a monopoly on authentic jerseys, and they're making a killing.
  19. I just had an extended discussion about this with one of my good friends, and the biggest college football fan I know (we're both students at Wisconsin). Neither of us can see the Big T1E1N expanding to the Big T1E2N anytime soon, but we still ran a what would we do scenario. So here we go... Big Ten-add Mizzou, they're geographically sensible and apparently haven't been on the Big 12's good side recently. Set up North-South divisions, as East-West makes one division (east) a powerhouse compared to the other. This won't clear up the possibility of Ohio State-Michigan playing twice a year, but it's the best we could come up with. North Minnesota Wisconsin Iowa Michigan State Michigan Northwestern South Mizzou Illinois Purdue Indiana Penn State Ohio State That leaves the Big 12 a team short. TCU is not a possibility, for reasons to be explained later, so we're thinking of Houston, they're a bit small, but are competitive in both basketball and football. North Colorado Iowa State Kansas Kansas State Nebraska Oklahoma State South Texas Texas A&M Texas Tech Houston Oklahoma Baylor By not adding TCU to the Big 12 they remain in the Mountain West, which could be made a legitimate conference with the addition of Boise State. We decided that Wyoming or SDSU would be most dropable, with Wyoming at the top. So add Boise State and make Mountain West a BCS conference and we have Boise State TCU UNLV SDSU Air Force BYU Colorado State Utah New Mexico A few other ideas we had were for the Big Ten to drop a team and have a Pac-10 like schedule, which is near perfection in our opinion. We don't see this happening any time soon. Another option was to keep things the way they are and have a Big Ten-Big East championship, each team already guaranteed its bowl game. This would just be a moneymaker, but would it make money? Probably not.
  20. can one of you guys make a football template with a neck roll, that might look kind of sweet
