    Don't truly have a dog in the fight for the D2 championship, but I dislike triple option offenses so I hope Mines gets the win. As for as the Stagg Bowl and Red Banner Bowl goes, I'll be rooting for the east coast teams.

    Premier Lacrosse League (PLL). Those are the jerseys the team wore this past season. They unveiled new logos last month, so I guess the supporters club is adopting those if what you say is true

    Don't think too many people would shed tears for the team ranked 13th on the outside looking in. That would likely be a 2 loss team anyways. Not the same level of shenanigans as an undefeated power conference champ being left out.

    NLL action on ESPN2 tonight. Philadelphia Wings vs New York Riptide at 7:30pm.

    Houston needs to do something about their orange kits. Mainly adjust the shade or possibly saturation of the orange, and switch to white numbers/lettering. Watching them play SKC right now, and those orange kits are not easy on my eyes.

    Maybe if Nike still used shiny fabrics on jerseys like they used to. This tan/gold Niners jerseys doesn't do it for me.

    Not a bad uniform in the grand scheme, but I would have preferred for these to just be what they used to call "fashion jerseys". Something fans could purchase, but the actual team never wore. Like the red Titans jerseys or yellow Packers jerseys you used to see people wear in the early 2000's.

    Despite my parents being North Carolina A&T alums, I will be supporting North Carolina Central during the playoffs (A&T's arch rival). As well as the eastern teams in general. For reasons I don't understand I want Sacramento State to have a good run though. Howard University will represent the MEAC in the Celebration Bowl. Howard will play the winner the SWAC championship game, either Florida A&M or Prairie View A&M.

    Judging by some of the stuff they've put out in the last two day, possibly both. As well as Buffalo, Rochester and maybe even NYC proper when the new soccer stadium finally opens.

    I'm on board with the PLL bringing back the Denver Outlaws brand. I'm also on board with their decision to put a team in Utah. I just don't get why they decided to put the Archers in Utah given how similar their color scheme is to the Outlaws. I know whenever they play each other they'll be wearing contrasting jerseys (at the very least), but I feel like most teams in rival cities tend to have different colors. Might have been optically better to have placed the Waterdogs in Utah. Purple vs Orange would have been a better color matchup between these cities than orange, navy blue & white vs orange, black & silver. With that said, so far it appears the Outlaws will emphasize black, while the Archers will emphasize orange. We'll have to see what each team does as far as uniforms.

    According to Google directions, Everett is a little over 4 miles away from Boston. Gillette Stadium is over 26 miles away from Boston.

    I understand though. It's a small league that needs to grow. It can't be in every significant lacrosse market on day one. If they went all in on being a NYC based team lacrosse fans in Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, etc. could start tuning out the PLL. They're all gonna have to share Atlas for now. Same could be same said for California The NorCal/SoCal rivalry is well know. Flat out settling the Redwoods in LA or The Bay, would effect potential fandom in the unchosen market. Even the Whipsnakes to an extent. I'm convinced they chose to call this team Maryland instead of Baltimore as not to turn off fans in Montgomery County, MD in particular (richest county in the state, and it borders DC) as well of the other counties of MD that are part of the DC region, that don't tend to identity with anything Baltimore. The regional team thing is a cop out, but it may be the best way to go about keeping fans in as many markets engaged until the league expands to a point where there's multiple teams in NY and California.

    We could realistically see the Lizards brand return as the league grows. Atlas represent the entire state of New York as far as I can tell from PLL's hype material. Years from now down the line, Atlas could settle in Albany while the league brings in a new Lizards team in Long Island.
