Makes me wonder if any school/team ever had a set of jerseys pull double duty between football and lacrosse. At a point between the late 80's and mid 90's some jerseys for each sport essentially had the same layout. Particularly the short cut/mid drift era of jerseys.
Gray pants with white socks looks weird. I know that's what the Eagles actually wore during that time, but green socks would have looked way better IMO.
I still watch major D1 sports for the level of competition. In the last decade I've began following Division 2 sports closer to fulfil the regional tradition that's been lost in D1.
The Broncos' white helmet isn't bad. The uniform combo it will be worn with isn't great. A set of matching white pants would be a significant improvement.
I only had three problems with the Seahawks' uniforms of that era.
The sleeve caps being a different color from the rest of jersey. Seemed unnecessary.
The inclusion of the helmet logo on the sleeves. If an alternate logo was created for this set in it's place it would have looked better off to me.
The alternate versions they ended up unveiling. Mainly the navy blue pants. The jerseys might have been better off had the numbers been slate blue instead white.
