    Do this. Clear decal instead of black so the Panther blends with the helmet to create a panther in the shadows.

    Brad Daugherty played for the Cleveland Cavaliers from 1986 to 1994. He was injured when the Cavaliers switched to their weird paint splash era, however, he's still in the video game NBA Jam: Tournament Edition on the Cavaliers which is based on the 1994/95 season with the updated logo. This also happened on various trading cards. It turns out he apparently had an actual warm up and jersey made according to game used auction sites but they just didn't get worn because he ended up retiring before he ever could suit up in it. I even found a throwback for him. I didn't know the Cavs wore throwbacks in the 90's but this says they did.

    The way I look at it is that the X in XFL can stand for whatever you want it to be. If you really want to see it as Dogbutt Football League or something in your mind then go ahead.

    Thank god we're going to get actual field designs for the teams this time around. The original XFL had generic end zones for every single team and it sucked.

    Uniforms are alright. Anybody else see that the teams each have their own football? Interesting twist, however I'm not sure if players will appreciate different color balls for every game. Might give them problems.

    I know we're not suppose to get political and stuff here or whatever but it's very well known that Vince is a republican and his patriotism is serious. He allegedly rewrote this weeks episode of Raw because of the passing of George H.W. in order to "lift the fans spirits" or something which is hilarious cause the show didn't lift any spirits and sucked like most WWE shows have this year. As far as the XFL goes, I actually do believe Vince will distance himself from any controversy, wrestling and general edginess. I think he really wants this to be a straight up shot at football. The last experience clearly bruised his ego and now he's out to get it right.

    I only really started getting into sports around the time the score bugs started to appear in sports in the late 90's. I'm 27 so I do remember the NBA on NBC showing you the score after every basket and I thought that was fine. Watching old NBA and NFL games on Youtube is annoying though especially during the 70's when they didn't tell you the down and distance, either hear the announcer or you're left in the dust.. I know back in the day people use to say "Hey man, what's the score?" when walking into the room but that doesn't happen anymore.

    Here's a screenshot from Week 1 of the 1994 season showcasing Fox using the scoreboard graphic for the first time in a regular season game. Notice how it doesn't have a gray background for visibility like it eventually would later on. Wikipedia says they debuted the graphic for the first time in a 1994 Preseason game between the 49ers and Broncos.

    Oh man, I forgot about that. I just recently moved back to Comcast Xfinity cable for the first time since 2007 and I found KICU in the channel lineup and had some nostalgia about that era. I love when sports are on local TV like that, it's sort of a lost art now cause everyhting is on Fox Sports or NBC Sports. I remember there was a rain delay for an A's game once on KICU and the corner logo during That 70's Show wasn't the network graphic, instead it was the A's logo with an umbrella over it saying Rain Delay in place of Oakland Athletics. It was pretty cool.

    This is the last time Michael Jordan was ever at the Boston Garden during the 2nd half of the 1994-95 season. Also of note is Dominique Wilkins who is playing for the Celtics. Nobody really remembers that. This next picture is from the final game at the Boston Garden. Here you can plainly see the difference in the shade of green on the original Garden floor and a different Celtics logo. The Celtics used this version of the logo (colored in too) up until 2002 or something. Weird.

    For two seasons before the move to Staples Center, the Clippers court design was changed to have team colors and a center court logo for the first time since they moved to Los Angeles.

    Here's an amazing one I've had saved for a couple years, I don't know exactly where it's from but from the backaround it might be All-Star Week 2003 in Atlanta. They are wearing those infamous Nike fashion throwbacks. EDIT: Found another good one.

    Fans would get the worst seats in the house just to see Minnesota's then-new NBA team at the Metrdome. Apparently the Wolves returned to the Dome during the Garnett Era for a preseason game on October 26, 1996. They may have had more games.
