  1. I was wondering why the Nets didn't do a concrete court look. The herringbone is cool but a street ball theme would be much better suited for Brooklyn, they are the only team aside from the Knicks that can get away with this idea. The Grizzlies doing it is just weird, I don't associate Memphis with street ball, I associate it with Three 6 Mafia, Elvis, and MLK. Also, I am very aware how weird it is I have mentioned those three things like that.
  2. It's finally happening. Let's hope it translates well on TV.
  3. I'm obviously aware but what I am saying is that their brand is a lazy attempt at military design. It's the loosest interpretation possible. Outside of the name and the stencil font, there is nothing else going on. Not all stencil means military even and the Packers and Steelers are an example of that. Regardless of what I think about the branding, the home jersey and helmet are nice looking. I just wish the away jersey didn't have that weird gradient thing going on.
  4. Not only that, the brown pants are clearly a holdover from the old Color Rush uniform.
  5. Commanders having stencil font makes no sense because stencils are nowhere in the teams branding, it was just a desperate attempt to have something "cool" in their look because the rest of the brand had nothing else going on. If any team is gonna do it then it needs to be the Steelers.
  6. I'm not sure but what I will say is the Jets did have a different version of that logo in the end zone, it stood out to me at the time because I have never seen that font without the plane. I'm suggesting that maybe there is a tweak of the logo coming that looks like the endzone design here, maybe they put it in the football shape too.
  7. Why would they have new colors? The Clippers have been red and blue the entire time they've been in Los Angeles and their arena is red too. There is a very low chance they suddenly stray away from what they have been wearing since 1982.
  8. What? Calling it Washington DC is incredibly common, so much so that sometimes people refer to the other Washington as Washington State. It would be weird and stupid if the team named Washington didn't have Washington anywhere in it's branding. How many times can I say Washington in this post anyways? Washington.
  9. I actually like the Browns a lot purely because of their uniforms. So yeah, I guess I kind of contradict myself on the whole "Root for/against the sports not the look" thing. Actually, I'm like that a lot of ways now that I think about it... Can I be both? I'm just gonna be both and shut up.
  10. Alright so you're not being chaotic just to be chaotic, there is in fact a method behind the madness.
  11. It's interesting because they did it at the Field of Dreams game and it made me hopeful that maybe we'd see the style come back if Nike is doing it and fans like it. I wouldn't be surprised to see a flannel City Connect uniform at some point.
  12. Oh, I'm sorry I'll just pretend that it hasn't been 32 years since they reached the NFC Championship and 66 since they won the NFL Championship. Maybe I'm exaggerating a little bit but you can't ignore how cool it is to see unless you're an upset Vikings fan. I'm kidding @oldschoolvikings please do not ban me I was joking. I'm a Raiders fan so I root for the teams who haven't done much because I can relate. Aren't you two dudes Eagles fans? I thought you guys would get how it is for a team to finally come up big.
  13. Really? You want the Lions to lose because of pants? The team is on one of the greatest runs in sports history and you want to see it come to an end because of pants?! I know what site we are on and complaints are valid but at the end of the day we're all here because we love sports. Who cares what they wear right now because this season is crazy. I want to see the Lions get to the Super Bowl and win.
  14. Green helmets on the Namath jersey looks wrong.
  15. I like it. Reminds me of the old Lakers black jerseys in how they execute the colors. The orange outline is gonna pop most likely.
  16. I'm going to assume the Jets won't use the 80's logo, they'll probably keep the current Jets helmet decal and then probably update the number font. While the 80's logo is great I can't see them messing with what they have right now due to logistics.
  17. Looks like Nike has no idea what color Cream is. Once again Nike cannot reproduce a color right. The Brewers and Giants home jerseys have way more yellow in them now for no reason.
  18. Lions will probably go with monochrome blue as their default home look next season.
  19. The Seahawks Sportslogos.net article has an interest comments section.
  20. You're really assuming no new uniforms or logos based on a picture of a placeholder design in an under construction arena?
  21. It looks way better now but I would have preferred an entirely new look. My local CW station in Sacramento moved to combine with MyNetworkTV in a weird hybrid station, so you get MyNetwork in the day and CW as a primetime block along with CW Sports. The resulting old CW station went back to its callsign and number for the name and it's pretty cool to see a channel like that again. We also have a complete unique logo for MyNetworkTV.
  22. Mahomes helmet is made by VICIS not Riddell, you know the company that supposedly has the safest helmets ever. I think it's as safe as it gets because he took the hit and was fine. Whatever is under the shell clearly kept him safe on that impact. If anything I feel like this just validated the existence of VICIS in terms of safety but calls into question the weather proofing, then again I don't think anybody can predict the weather being the way it was, you know what I mean?
  23. I have never seen an NFL helmet get cracked before. Was it because of the cold? There's no way modern helmets are cracking so easily without some help.
