  1. Also....Paxton Lynch still sucks. This is the 4th league he has sucked in.
  2. The reason is that the city of Arlington wanted the team to be named Arlington in order to allow the XFL to have its headquarters there.
  3. TBH, there's really not anything to talk about until May, when Tempe votes on whether or not they will be the long term home of the Coyotes.
  4. it should end up like that, but will it? For all we know, the current mayor may want to keep Soldier Field the same size (with the dome proposal) in order to lure a second NFL team.
  5. They'll get a veteran, just one who they believe won't threaten Sam Howell. Names like Chase Daniel, Brian Hoyer, Blaine Gabbert, Davis Webb, Case Keenum, Nick Mullens, Nathan Peterman, David Blough, Kyle Allen, Trevor Siemien, Brandon Allen, Nate Sudfeld, Mason Rudolph all fit the type of veteran QB that Washington would want if they want to hand the keys to Howell. Even if the first four names (Daniel, Hoyer, Gabbert and Webb) all retire, there are still veterans out there that they could bring in who won't threaten Howell.
  6. If Vegas gets the A's, the city will write a 2,000 page book and send it to NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and to the other NBA owners as to why Las Vegas deserves an NBA team over anyone else once Seattle joins the league. It will go into detail as to why they deserve the 32nd NBA team over Mexico City, Louisville, Kansas City, Tampa (among others who may want to be #32 in the NBA once Seattle joins the NBA). Vegas will also bombard the voicemail of MLS Commissioner Don Garber about why they deserve to join MLS over San Diego, Phoenix, Indianapolis, Louisville, Albuquerque (among others). Las Vegas having major league sports in all five major sports leagues in the United States is inevitable, whether we like it or not. To me, Vegas should have been satisfied with the Golden Knights and then later on get an MLS team, but it seems to me that they became envious of places like Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Francisco/Bay Area and they want to collect them all.
  7. Since pitchers and catchers are reporting:
  8. Well, we can't laugh at the Colts for making this decision now, which could disappoint a few people: Also proof that he didn't do a Josh McDaniels and back out:
  9. They could have also used the black shoulder pads to distinguish themselves from the Saskatchewan Rough Riders and New York Jets
  10. Should have went this route: At least with that helmet, it's an actual viper.
  11. he was a favorite of Jim "Quartile" Irsay.
  12. Carolina hiring Josh McCown as QB Coach is a smart move for McCown. Now he can be a head coach the normal way.
  13. the Colts will not hire Jeff Saturday unless Steichen does a Josh McDaniels:
  14. He might not be the last backup QB to retire this offseason. Quite a few older backups out there: Colt McCoy, Brian Hoyer, Blaine Gabbert, Josh Johnson, Joe Flacco, and Chase Daniel. If all of these guys retire, as well as Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers, it would make Andy Dalton the oldest QB in the league.
  15. If they were to rename the team, then why not keep the orange and pink?
  16. Second consecutive Super Bowl in which the Halftime Show was great.
