  1. So earlier today on his weekly radio appearance on KTCK in Dallas, Darryl Johnston said that while FOX hasn't announced the teams for 2023, he suggests that Tom Brady be a part of the FOX NFL Sunday Crew, keeping Greg Olsen where he is. He said that recent health issues by Terry Bradshaw and whether or not Jimmy Johnson wants to fly cross country from Miami to Los Angeles anymore could play a factor in how FOX structures their announce teams for 2023.
  2. A list of MLS teams and their net worth estimated by Forbes: LAFC: $1 Billion LA Galaxy: $925 Million Atlanta United: $850 Million NYCFC: $800 Million DC United: $700 Million Toronto FC: $690 Million Austin FC: $680 million Seattle Sounders: $660 million Portland Timbers: $650 million Charlotte FC: $625 million Inter Miami FC: $600 million Sporting KC: $590 million Philadelphia Union: $575 million FC Cincinnati: $560 million Columbus Crew: $550 million Minnesota United: $540 million RBNY: $525 million Nashville SC: $500 million New England Revolution: $475 million San Jose Earthquakes: $450 million Real Salt Lake: $440 million Chicago Fire FC: $425 million Houston Dynamo: $435 million Orlando City SC: $420 million Vancouver Whitecaps: $410 million FC Dallas: $400 million CF Montreal: $375 million Colorado Rapids: $375 million https://www.forbes.com/sites/justinbirnbaum/2023/02/02/major-league-soccers-most-valuable-clubs-2023-lafc-is-the-first-billion-dollar-franchise/
  3. if Washington sticks with Howell, they will probably sign a lower tier free agent to give him support but not threaten to take his starting job, which could mean Taylor Heinecke returns. As for Matt Corral, it will depend on how Frank Reich feels about him.
  4. We'll see in 40 days (when he came out of retirement the first time). If he is announced with Kevin Burkhardt for next season (demoting Greg Olsen, which should not happen) then yeah, he's done. I did say I wouldn't believe it unless he's not on any team rosters on Week 18 of the next season, but after thinking about it further, I will say he's done when FOX announces their broadcast teams for the 2023 season. Until then, there's always the possibility he changes his mind again and if FOX announces their broadcast teams and it's Burkhardt and Olsen again and he's nowhere to be found and decides to wait until 2024 to join Burkhardt, it's going to fuel those "Tom Brady is coming back to play" rumors.
  5. They will probably bring back these teams: Baltimore Brigade, Columbus Destroyers, Washington Valor, Atlantic City Blackjacks, Tampa Bay Storm and Philadelphia Soul.
  6. Orlando, Arizona, Jacksonville and Iowa are in other leagues. Not sure if they want to go back to the Arena League.
  7. I am of this mindset: I will truly believe he has retired for good if he's not on any roster by Week 18 of the NFL season.
  8. Sigh.....I hate the Athletic because it's a paywall site and I don't want to have to pay for it. It will be interesting to see what type of broadcast deal they are going to have. Will they be like all of the other indoor leagues and be on YouTube? Or will it be an actual broadcast deal?
  9. Hopefully the AFL's ownership is much more stable than that of the NAL. The IFL is starting to slowly stabilize their ownership.
  10. Would Ryans have been hired by the Texans if Jack Easterby was still around?
  11. Adam Schefter just appeared on the Pat McAfee Show and said that they (NFL) were going to look into problems with officiating.
  12. Philadelphia currently has one QB on their roster in Kevin Thomson, who is new. All three QBs they had last year: Scott, Case Cookus and KJ Costello are free agents. Costello never got any interest from NFL, CFL, XFL or USFL after he was released by the Saints in training camp. Now could it be he wants to pursue coaching or life outside of football? Perhaps. It could also be that he's going back to the Stars. The fact that the Stars haven't filled that QB room leads me to believe that Cookus and/or Costello are coming back.
  13. Plus the rest of the league is totally confused as to how to cover Travis Kelce, leaving him open in the middle every single time.
  14. JaguarGator9 on his livestream says that the NFL changes referees every week, like one lead referee will have one crew one week and another crew the next, creating inconsistencies in officiating.
