SSmith48
Very nicely done so far! Love the creativity given to each team! Definitely helps set this project apart from others! Also I really find those templates (esp. hockey) useful! Keep up the good work! Quote Visit my website at SSmith Designs (google.com)
jbird669
I'm loving this series, but I have one questions. Dewi Hillraisers - what is that in the primary logo? Is it a cycloptic dragon?
kb105
It’s supposed to be a take on the dragon from the welsh flag.
kb105
And we're back! Here is an update to the ECNM Roadies. For this one, I felt that the Zia stripe motif was a good idea, however it came out kind of amateurish. So this time I decided to go a little more traditional along with replacing the sandy, "Yucca" color with white to kind of brighten up the whole look. Football - Now has three helmet designs - Full length striping - Side shadowed numbers - Turquoise features a third color Basketball - 3/4 framed striping - ECNM on road, side shadow numbers and wordmarks - Turquoise features third color Hockey - Shoulder and arm yokes - Side shadow numbers Baseball - Pinstripes for home and away - Two new caps, one white and one navy billed - Alternate is Navy-Turquoise with white accents For Comparison
Blindsay
The gradient on the basketball court wasn’t needed but not bad as well...... kb105
Yeah I know it wasn’t needed but I thought that for a team with a bit more “exotic” color scheme, it would kind of work.
kb105
Emerging from the depths of the Chattahoochee River, the Chasers. Colors - Bronze - Chaser Charcoal - State Silver Logos Seal - A modified version of the the seals used by most schools in the University System Of Georgia, with an added cheetah head. Primary - The primary is a cheetah that is in the "chasing pose". It was clearly influenced by SMU's logo with its front and back legs towards each other. The team name was chosen simply for alliteration's sake. Secondary - The secondary is the head of the cheetah in the primary. Tertiary - The tertiary is a cursive C Field - Built alongside the creation of the school's academic buildings, Zaxby's Stadium opened up for the Chaser's inaugural game in the 2006 season, where they promptly went 1-9. - Hybrid of Kentucky bluegrass and dark green artificial turf. Uniforms - Chattahoochee State can gloat about being the only school in the Atlantic Gulf to have never changed their uniforms. Now, this is also because they are the youngest school in the AUIA, but that's here, nor there. The original coach/athletic director, Dan Reaves wanted a traditional look like all the other teams he coached. So Nike looked at some designs from other teams, and came up with this UCF-Jaguars mashup. The stripes are technically double stripes, with the cuff acting as the third stripe. This ingenuity allowed for a reasonably sized chaser to be placed on the shoulder caps. The rest of the uniforms follow a simple set of rules: 1. Numbers match stripe color blocking, 2. colors match cuffs, 3. pant stripes match corresponding helmet stripes. They were also one of the first teams to experiment with alternate uniforms, having the gold jersey and silver helmets in 2006, then adding the the silver jersey and charcoal helmet in 2007. All of these elements are interchangeable, although the silver/white/silver has yet to be worn. Court - Also built prior to the 2006-2007 season, it replaced the City of Cusseta civic center that was demolished to allow for the building of the university. It is open to the public for all non-game nights, however it still is like any other small college basketball arena with concession stands, team stores, etc. However, it is one of the only, if not the only to have a full, commercial gym and an Olympic sized pool underneath the playing surface. Uniforms - Dan Reeves also wanted the uniforms on the court to remain traditional. So, Nike once again turned to a professional team, this time with more of a storied history. The piping mimics the piping used by the Boston Celtics, only having been updated to fit each new uniform template. Uniforms - Nike was allowed to go a bit more "out of the box" with the hockey uniforms. They went for clunky sleeves and clunky striping. The look was inspired by the old penguins uniforms they had worn when they won the Stanley cup finals. Also with these uniforms, they added a slightly tweaked the traditional striping pattern, going for the same exact 5-stripe pattern worn across all uniforms. The alternate was added later in 2016, going with a simple diagonal "CHASERS" and more traditional striping. Field - Another 2006 build, Chattahoochee State Park uses the same hybrid turf as the football field and local Georgia clay base paths and warning track. The park logo is the same as their famous cheetah print sign that won awards for the best designed sign in all of college athletics in 2006. Uniforms - Baseball also went for a traditional look, with a bronze/charcoal cap with the script C, and matching collar and cuff striping. The home and away are identical, except the home is white and the away is silver. The alternates are also traditional takes with the script C over the heart and three stripe piping. The two alternate uniforms are also identical, except where bronze and charcoal are swapped. The hats are interchangeable, as all uniforms use enough of each bronze and charcoal to still look good.
kb105
Grand Valley doesn't change too much, adding a new striping pattern, new script (let me know how it looks, it's the first one I've done), and a new baseball template which I traced from rsaline's baseball template. Football - New alternate helmet - New striping pattern Basketball - New Bobcats script - New striping pattern - New color blocking for alternate Hockey - Diagonal striping replaces arm color blocking - New script on home and away helmets, alternate jersey Baseball - Jerseys, not vests - Two new hats - New script, striping patterns For Comparison
kb105
Colors - Navy Oil - Acadiana Gold (more yellow version that the previous color) - White Logos (previous) - Emblem: Shield with the element of the flag of Acadiana. - Primary: A Feur-de-Derrick (Same design as before, just cleaned up some lines and made line widths even) - Secondary: AU monogram (elevated from tertiary designation, right leg of the A and the left arm of the U now are one continuous line ) - Thowback: Plain Fleur-de-leis and AU monogram. In 1996, the University of Louisiana System was founded and the system wanted a junior college that could serve both McNeese State and Louisiana-Lafayette. The city of Jennings was chosen as it is nearly smack-dab in the middle of the two schools along I-10. Jennings State College began classes in 1998 and soon the system realized a junior college was not sufficient. After expansion and relocation to the outskirts of the city, Acadiana University was established in 2004. The name was a slight against Louisiana Lafayette, who in 1984 tried to rename to just the University of Louisiana. The nickname Oilers comes from Jennings being the first well in Louisiana to strike oil. Athletics began in 1998 when the school was just a junior college competing in the MISS-LOU Junior College Conference in all sports, except football, who competed in the neighboring MACJC with Mississippi schools. In 2004, the teams joined the Division III SCAC prior to joining the AUIA for the 2012-2013 seasons. Here is the finalized football schedule, some notes: - Gold denotes home, White denotes away, Grey denotes neutral sites - Conference play is denoted by * - Bye week is Week 9 - Design of the date box is the helmet, color of the date is the jersey color being worn (Week 4 (Homecoming) and Week 7 (Rivalry) is the throwback design).
kb105
Colors - Gulf Blue - Emerald Coast Green - Seafoam White - Hull Grey University Seal Vectorized and simplified version of the Fort Walton Beach city seal Logos - Primary: Jumping billfish, based on fish seen in nearby Destin's city flag - Secondary: Interlocking E and C -Tertiary: Ship seen in university seal with the secondary logo on the main sail Football The stadium is named after Danny Wuerfful, who is from the FWB area and former Heisman Trophy and National Championship winning quarterback. Uniforms have block font with drop shadow in a nod to the military ties to the area, and have the tertiary logo on the sleeves, similar to the Tampa Bay Bucs. The stripes are the order seen in the secondary logo in the portion in the middle. The uniform combination not worn is white, blue, grey. Basketball The arena is named after Colonel Joe Stanley, the commander of nearby Elgin Air Force Base and lived in FWB up until his death in 2012. Uniforms use the same striping around the chest and legs, with the school name under the numbers because I didn't want the word mark to be stacked, but above the numbers made it too small. Hockey The hockey team shares the chest stripe with basketball, uses the secondary logo on the chest. The grey hem stripe is simply to tie-in the grey pants. Baseball The uniforms are formatted like the Nationals with a Florida Marlins-esque chest logo. Same striping patterns throughout.
Blindsay
Nothing bad here, a bit nit picky, but can the striping on the basketball court for Emerald Coast be vertical too? Or in the paint like you did with the Oilers? Good stuff, good to see you back! 1 Quote Im an isles, rangers, devils,Sabres,Yankees,Mets,Braves, hawks, knicks, nets, bills, giants, falcons, and jets fan. So? The top one is the original, with the second one is with the angled ending to the striping like with the Oilers and with the stripe in the paint as well, and the third one having the striping surrounding the wordmark. Let me know what looks best or if you have any other suggestions.

kb105
So when looking on Wikipedia for a town in the Biloxi-Mobile area, I saw that Pascagoula is subject of a few songs, such as The Pascagoula Run by Jimmy Buffett and Mississippi Squirrel Revival by Ray Stevens. The grey squirrel happens to be common in the region, so the Pascagoula Delta Tech, or commonly referred to as PDT, Greys were born. Colors - Pasco Grey - Delta Blue - Tech White University Seal State seal of Mississippi in school colors, school motto roughly translates "to try is to learn" Logos - Primary: Arched PDT superimposed by the head of a grey squirrel, named Pasco - Secondary: Arched PDT -Tertiary: The head of Pasco Football The stadium is named the Tree House due to it's tendency to shake during games due to its mostly wood structure. Even after it was recently reinforced with metal beams, the 90 year old structure continue to shake thanks to a state-of-the-art shock absorbing system developed by the school of engineering. Since the renovation, the field has been sponsored by the Mississippi restaurant chain McAlister's. The uniforms take inspiration from a few places. The shoulder stripes come from the curvature of the cheek in Pasco with the pants stripe being a representation of the water on which the school sits. The two grey uniforms coms from Georgia Tech's recent adidas uniforms having two white uniforms for home and road. The grey helmet is a normal shell enamel, so it is not silver. The PDT color would change depending on what uniform is being worn, with the decals shown with the alternate uniform being used with the home uniform as well. Basketball The arena is sponsored by Sanderson Farms, which is one of the largest poultry providers in the country and based in nearby Laurel. The farming nature of the sponsor, along with the chance of alliteration, is why it is called a fieldhouse and would have an exterior similar to Lucas Oil Stadium, but much smaller. The uniforms follow the same aesthetics as football, carrying over the pants stripe and the color blocking which is used on the collars and arm holes. The main accent color on the home is white this time, as that is the de facto home color in basketball and the blue accents are on the away. Hockey With them sharing their venue with basketball, the uniforms are the only concern. They use the pant stripe as the base, but making the two stripes the same width on the jersey. The hem and arm stripes are both supposed to be wavy with the pant stripe being the same as the others. The accent colors follow the same rules as football. Baseball The baseball stadium is sponsored by Peavy, one of the largest audio equipment manufacturers in the world and located in Meridian. The uniforms are business on top, party on the bottom. Once again, two grey uniforms, following basketball accent rules. The piping is the same as the jersey stripes on hockey, but not wavy. The blue alternate is a little fun with Pasco on the chest. The pants all have the corresponding "Delta Stripe" (that's the name I just decided on) down both sides. The decals on the batting helmets change depending on uniforms, and the hats of the blue alternate and road grey can be switched up with the corresponding uniforms.
Blindsay
Pretty good, but for the baseball uniforms, could you replace the PDT on the road with Pascagoula and just remove the PDT on the alternate and just move the squirrel to the side? Keep up the good work! Quote Im an isles, rangers, devils,Sabres,Yankees,Mets,Braves, hawks, knicks, nets, bills, giants, falcons, and jets fan. So? kb105
Colors - Crane Maroon - Georgia Peach - Sand White Logos - Primary: S-shaped sandhill crane - Secondary: Athletics wordmark -Tertiary: Inversely colored primary Football The stadium is named after local millionaire and founder/CEO of Mailchimp, a digital marketing company. The uniforms take inspiration from the 2012 Mississippi State banner uniforms. The banner in this case takes inspiration from the neck of the crane in the logo. The number font is a modified clarendon, because it fits well with the logo and wordmark. The alternate helmet was just an idea that I thought would be cool for a one-off once a season or every other season. Basketball The arena is called the Rock because of two things. The first coming from the bible verse of Jesus building the church on Peter, his rock, because it's a Christian university; the second being the arena kind of looks like Pride Rock from the Lion King. The uniforms also uses the banner motif. The sides of the jerseys are just a solid color, with the pants having the other color of the "banner", angling out towards the bottom into leg striping, because the abrupt end didn't look good. Hockey The arm yokes use the banners on the home and away, and the hem stripe is just a simple stipe to break up the big block of color. The alternate takes the jagged stripe from the socks and puts it on the hem. The arms just takes the normal hem stripe to create color blocking to break up the large block of the peach color. Baseball The baseball stadium is sponsored by the aforementioned Mailchimp. The uniforms simply carry over from the rest of the sets, really nothing too special to highlight.
Chawls
• Sandhill wordmark looks like it says SandhiU • Acadiana’s gold looks like green, but that may be because I’m on my phone. Those critiques aside, I’m enjoying the heck out of this series. Keep up the great work! 1 Quote Quote If you hadn't noticed, Chawls loves his wrestling, whether it be real life or sim. kb105
Named for Hueytown's history with pig iron. Colors - Cool Red - Hot Iron Orange - Wild Hog Black - Tuskers White Logos -Throwback: secondary logo from when they were called the tuskers, so it is a t shaped like a tusk. Football The stadium is named after Jameis Winston, who grew up and played high school football in Hueytown. The uniforms take inspiration from TCU's Black Panther uniforms, but more like the Black Panther. The rest of the uniform takes the unique color blocking of the secondary logo and applies it to the numbers and stripes. The main helmet is meant to have a metallic finish with a red base and orange metallic flakes, leading to a look similar to the 2000s Jags Black/Teal helmet. The alternate is a throwback to the aforementioned Tuskers days, which is close to the creamsicle Bucs uniforms. Basketball The arena is sponsored by BBVA, a bank that is based in nearby Birmingham. The uniforms also uses the Tusk "Necklace" and the HT stripes, which go from pit to pant leg, with the smaller stripes going around the bottom of the pants. Hockey The hockey uniforms continue the same look. Baseball The baseball stadium is sponsored Shipt, a same-day delivery service based in Birmingham. The uniforms continues the look, the away and alternates caps can be used for any of the alternate jerseys.
Silence of the Rams
Heads up. Don't call the football defense the alabama gang. Hueytown's own Bobby Allison may have an issue with that (lol)
chcarlson23
As clever as the Tusk necklace is, it’s not going to be visible on the hockey team’s socks. Those will definitely be covered up by the breezers. Quote "And those who know Your Name put their trust in You, for You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You."
