_DietDrPepper_
I’m a huge fan of this color scheme for the Eagles. Overall this concept is great, the new custom font fits the vibe of the logo and even though is bares a lot of similarities to the Falcons/Texas/Bengals/Cardinals/etc, it looks really good. My only tweak would be getting rid of either white pants or green pants. I don’t think you need both when you also have silver pants. LEWJ
Wow, I’m not sure how I missed most of this series. Great job. The presentation and explanations are so well thought out and executed, it’s hard to dislike any of these. | BROWNS | BUCKEYES | CAVALIERS | INDIANS |
Brave-Bird 08
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS My personal inspiration for these uniforms came to me while looking at photos of the Jacksonville Dolphins football team, which is now defunct, but had a Notre Dame-type simplicity with gold shells and plain green and gold uniforms. I thought it looked great. My biggest gripe with the Jaguars over the years has been the emphasis on black in the primary uniforms, and now, especially, the lack of gold. The helmet is the centerpiece -- now a satin finished gold shell with a gold facemask. I do love the simplicity with the current Jaguars uniforms, especially after how over-designed their first go-around with Nike was. That's kept in tact here, because I felt that with the new helmet, there didn't need to be tons of changes in other areas other than the colorway. I took the original number font, which I felt was much better than the jagged block font and the generic font they use now, and tinkered with it by giving it some "teeth" around the edges The teal is made to be a bit greener, just a personal preference for me with their brand
jaytavo305
Jags do look beautiful, can't go wrong with green and gold, but I almost feel like its TOO close to Notre Dame, that's all I see when I look at it. Im also not sure if that black alt is necessary, albeit it looks cool with the gold lid. excited to see this series back
Brave-Bird 08
HOUSTON TEXANS For starters: the Texans, sans the generic nickname, have my favorite logo in the NFL. Really, though, the logo isn't given justice unless it's on top of a white background because the negative space is a big part of what makes it what it is. So, a white helmet replaces the blue shell. Now the fun part: this concept brings back two contemporary design quirks of yesteryear that were pretty unpopular -- piping, and yokes! I will admit, I loved the piping era on football uniforms, and I liked yokes. (I even liked the Bills uniforms from the 2000s, just felt like the side panels and helmet stripe needed cleaning up). But I digress. I wanted two of my concepts to incorporate piping and/or yokes and as this concept went, I built it around both of those elements. The sleeve style that builds out the yoke is supposed to mimic the longhorn of the logo. The yoke is supposed to give the feeling of the Texas flag draped over the shoulder of the player, as a symbol of state pride I like the Texans number font a lot, so no need to tweak it here. BVZ
When you said piping and yokes, I got nervous. But this is a great concept. Reminds me of the early 2000s Miami uni’s. My only changes would be to return to red numbers on the road (the navy looks good too), with red socks always being worn with navy pants, and striping on the navy socks to mimic the flag. Could also do white socks with striping for the navy pants to match the helmet.

jaytavo305
Very interesting for the Texans, reminds me a little of the Miami batwing style jerseys from the 2000s. These jerseys look like they were unveiled in 2005, but not necessarily in a bad way. I think its really out of the box and unique, I just think the yoke/striping pattern translates better on the blue/red colored jerseys rather than the white. I really can't make up my mind with these, its creative and fun but not sure if it totally works. Might grow on me over time, although certainly better than what they wear now
Indigo
The yoke is fine, and the striping pattern is clever and unique, but as @jaytavo305 said, they look better on the colored jerseys than the white. Maybe just have the horn-piping, and remove the yoke? Also, the Jags need a black facemask and some pants stripes to differ from ND

I believe the Jaguars handed out gold helmets to their Ring of Honor players or management, so I know they do exist in the world. But I think a black or teal facemask works better with the helmets, but my mind says they should always be all black, mask included. I also think the lack of striping hurts these too. 15 hours ago, Brave-Bird 08 said: HOUSTON TEXANS For starters: the Texans, sans the generic nickname, have my favorite logo in the NFL.
