Gary
The Indiana Firebirds are on sale on EBAY at the moment here is the link to the page:Indiana Firebird's EBAY on Sale Auction PageMyself I can't believe they would stoop so low to sell the Firebirds on EBAY. BTW this is legitimate
CityOfWalrus
The Anchorage Aces (Alaska Aces) were also sold on ebay........
yh
I just don't understand why the AFL would allow this to happen. It's bad enough it's got a couple of teams in trouble, but this is just embarassing and so unprofessional for a league that is trying to establish itself as a marquee sports product. Discrim
i don't have $60 million handy, otherwise i'd buy em and move em to Milwaukee A strong mind gets high off success, a weak mind gets high off bull
yh
i don't have $60 million handy, otherwise i'd buy em and move em to Milwaukee If I read the entry correctly, you have to be willing to assume the lease at Conseco. So, unless you're willing to throw some of that $60 mil at the landlord, you'll have to stay in Indy. It's not such a bad town, really.
Mac the Knife
Actually any sale would have to be approved by the AFL's BoD, Yale, so sale or eBay or no, the deal might not go through. If I had the scratch lying around though, I'd bring 'em to Raleigh in a heartbeat. dwertman
i don't have $60 million handy, otherwise i'd buy em and move em to Milwaukee the 60 mil is the AFLs requirement for the net worth of any prospective owner. And i think, you have to have 6-8 million in liquid assets.I think im gonna call them, and find out if they can wait on the sale till after my dealings with the Nigerian Govt are thru,I will be able to cover there requirement in spades.
