who do you think
Good. Minnesota deserves to get smacked after this "bring ya ass" nonsense. It's gotten really obnoxious. 1

Ant is 22. MJ didn't make it to a conference finals until he was 26, when he rand head-long into a prolific Detroit Pistons team. He didn't win a title until he was 28. This might not be Ant's year, but it's coming. 11 hours ago, who do you think said: Good. Minnesota deserves to get smacked after this "bring ya ass" nonsense. It's gotten really obnoxious. Ant being in the conference finals at 22 is because he's on a stacked team with a 4x DPOY, 6th man of the year, 4x all-star and coach of the year. you don't think Mj would have done the same if had that talent behind him? Maybe Luka will get there. Maybe Wemby will get there. Maybe Ant will. But there's been a "next MJ" and a "next LeBron" since 2003. Kobe was closest. Duncan and Shaq were the most dominant. The Warriors had the greatest team. But it's still those two guys. Vince Carter wasn't it. Grant Hill wasn't it. AI wasn't it. Yao Ming wasn't it. Zion isn't it. Ben Simmons, Markelly Fultz, Trae Young, Andre Wiggins, and so on. A bunch of guys primed to be the next guy who just weren't. The next ___ is especially stupid when Ant, Luka, Wemby, Kyrie, Jokic, AD, and so many more guys are great in their own ways. NBA fandom has a real hardon for the past and it's pretty dumb. 4 1 Quote 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags
Germanshepherd
I’ve never been so disappointed in a team that’s so clearly overmatched. There’s no excuse for the Pacers not to be up 2-1 right now. Quote i have unquantifiable corpses on my conscience

DG_YouKnowWhatThatMeans
There's a world Indiana is up 2-1 in this series. Not this world, but a world. Germanshepherd
I’m so mad at the Pacers. YOU WERE SO CLOSE TO ONE OF THE FUNNIEST UPSETS OF ALL TIME BUT YOU DID THE ONE THING YOU CANT :censored:ING DO TWICE. Digby
The Celtics are trying so hard to let a gentleman's sweep happen and it's not. I don't know what else is left. Play Tatum and Brown with one hand tied behind their backs? Start the Maine Red Claws in game 4?
who do you think
I won't knock that win. The Celtics pulled out a comeback win on the road* on a night when the threes weren't falling (although they still shot better from three than Indiana). They could have easily folded in the multiple times they made some headway and then watched the lead swell back up to 18, and again later on when it seemed to keep bouncing between 3 and 9 or so. That shows resilience, lack of which is one of the top criticisms of this team. *maybe that was working in their favor

The_Admiral
Baseball and hockey seem far more concerned with the past than the NBA, for whatever it's worth. I don't know how the NBA could be more forward-facing short of just pretending Jordan and Kobe never existed. Germanshepherd
Basketball wise this is the most fun to watch conference finals I can remember, but the same team won all the clutch games so it’s over by game three. Also, I can’t believe how good Kyrie’s been for that team. I didn’t expect a good final act of his career let alone a GREAT one. Wild stuff. Dynasty
I can't believe Luka and Kyrie may actually be going to the finals together. When Dallas picked Irving up, I did NOT think that this duo would make it this far, let alone actually be an effective tandem.
