Cyclopsis Joe
Sorry, but I'm not flying into 100 degree heat to watch a baseball game. I don't speak for democrats, democrats don't speak for me.
Gary
Sorry, but I'm not flying into 100 degree heat to watch a baseball game. Joe in January, February, and March the temperature is 65-80 degrees at best. It doesn't get to 100-110 degrees until June and lasts until the middle of September. It isn't 100 degrees here all the time in fact it's only 88 degrees right now and the high will be
jkrdevil
I think Arizona has to be a location with the new stadium there, and the fact weather is perfect there for march baseball. That's why they have spring training there.

Gary
actually that is where you are waaaaaaaaay off. Phoenix has the edge in population while Philly just became 6th(Check the Concensus, we just became 5th just maybe a year ago), and the stupid thing is some idiot in a Philadelphia Rag had to bash us because we went higher in population. Boy we must be some stupid "Desert Town" if people want to move here other than the "City of Brotherly Love".

Against the best of the Americans? actually going in, its likely America wouldn't be the favorite. The Dominican Republic would have a team of Pedro Martinez, Valdamir Guerrero, Sammy Sosa, Moises Alou, and many more of today's biggest stars. Add to that the "Americans" with dominican heritage, A-Rod, Pulojs, etc, they would be extremely good. Give us a few years notice, we'll put together an Aussie Rules team...and lose horribly. I ment to ask, are there any forgieners playing Aussie Rules over there? I'm not talking about Kiwi's either. Like Americans or anything?

Gary
it's called the Arizona Republic, you might know it as Phoenix's Main Newspaper. Dude where are you getting your facts. I live here, I know what goes on. I can tell you that, this is not Retirement Center U.S.A. and Phoenix is the 5th largest city only for the fact that we are a growing city. We have families moving here, why, asthma sufferers, better jobs, growing communities, better housing, beautiful weather. You have so many stereotypes about Phoenix it's not even funny. Where have you been seriously, there was a story in a Philadelphia Newspaper maybe a year ago. There was a Reporter bashing Phoenix because they became the 5th largest city in the United States. Saying some bad things about us. So if there isn't enough facts for you right there, quit bashing Phoenix we are a very great city.

pcgd
while looking for a job I was looking in Phenoix and Houston because they have two of the fastest growing 20-30 year old populations in the country. It seemed like a great place to live and the cost of living wasn't outrageous. If I had gotten a job there, I would have moved.
