WJMorris3 Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 Well, with the Phillies' Pat Burrell having 15 RBIs after the first week of the season, the question must be asked. Is this the year that Hack Wilson's record of 191 RBIs in a season falls?
IronChefShark Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 I dont know if it will happen, or who will do it if it does happen, but I know this much....whoever does do it will be accused of steroid use by everyone US state flag concepts
OB33 Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 This is a tad off topic but that's who Jimmy Dugans was based on right?BTW:135-149. #CHOMPCHOMPCHOMP

Gary Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 i'll definitely say around 175 RBI'S but no where close to the record
NJTank Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 135-149 is what I say and Burell will slow down. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
Roger Clemente Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 I dont know if it will happen, or who will do it if it does happen, but I know this much....whoever does do it will be accused of steroid use by everyone Well, that would probably depend on the method with which he obtains the feat. If he were to hit a bases-clearing double or single every second or third day, and those constitutes as his only hits of the week, he could break the record and still be considered a somewhat poor player whom no one would likely suspect of being juiced.--Roger "Time?" Clemente. Follow me on Twitter if you care: @Animal_Clans.My opinion may or may not be the same as yours. The choice is up to you.
GeneralW91 Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 I also say 135-149, but I don't think Burrell will be close to that. www.ABAsite.tk

But I'd say that a guy hitting in the #3 or 4 or 5 spot would be most likely to do it, as the lineups are basically set up to have guys on base when that particular person comes to the plate. So chances are, it'd be a fairly good player.
