timparry
Then what are these people's excuses?http://cgi.ebay.com/New-York-Giants-vs-New...1QQcmdZViewItemhttp://cgi.ebay.com/2-Lower-Level-Tickets-...1QQcmdZViewItemhttp://cgi.ebay.com/4-NEW-YORK-GIANTS-TICK...1QQcmdZViewItemhttp://cgi.ebay.com/GIANTS-vs-Saints-4-tic...1QQcmdZViewItemYou're right, there are a lot of tickets available. But the sad thing is there will be a lot of tickets available from scalpers all along Rt. 17 (at the usual spots). I know the Chargers-Dolphins game in Phoenix a few years back was a last-second thing, but the Giants should have done it like that game was done. No face value on the tickets, make a donation at the door. This just makes it look too much like the Giants stole a 9th home game. And keep in mind I was born and raised a Giants fan (and still am), and think this was the team's biggest mistake since Ray Perkins named Scott Bruenner the starting QB over Phil Simms. They should have just put the tickets on sale to everyone last Thursday and held back a few thousand for possibly New Orleans fans. Their multi-step process kind of took the wind out of the whole thing and most people probably thought there wouldn't be tickets left and now that there are they don't care as much. There was no need to give season ticket holders preference in this case.
