Cujo Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 Good for him but it's called luck, my friend. If getting a hole-in-one was an actual skill, Tiger would be hitting them in a weekly basis.
tajmccall Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Lucky, Skilled, who cares. Its a miraculous feat. How many of you guys who are able-bodied have hit one? Store 1 Store 2
sp0rtsguy13 Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 I think its almost all luck, but you definetly need some skill to come close and then hope you got a good roll in.However, this summer I was at a golf camp and a kid in my group one day hit a hole in one and hes only 12. He was one of the better golfers at the camp though and only the second in the camps 7 or so year history someone got a hole in one. Its a 9 hole par three course. All the holes are short models of holes from big time courses such as Augusta National and Pebble Beach. CJR Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 However, this summer I was at a golf camp and a kid in my group one day hit a hole in one and hes only 12. That's nothing, I hit mine when I was 11. FantasyHockeySim.com || DetroitHockey.Net || DetroitHockey.Net FHL || cjr.dev
Natsfan36 Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 keep in mind that the hole could have been really short, like a 100 yarder. my friend hit one when he was 12 also. but it was only like a 75 yard hole. I just wanna do hoodrat things with my friends.

Well, judging by what was written in the article, this was a 140-yards hole.
