WJMorris3 Posted August 29, 2005 Share Posted August 29, 2005 I remember that Penn State proudly displays a banner for the 1994 New York Times national championship in I-A football (though most football fans will remember that the AP poll voted Nebraska #1).I also remember that Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville promised his kids national championship rings once they found a poll that recognized them as national champions.
