mac
I got this idea while watching San Diego State last week. I liked how their helmet fades from one color to another. I decided to put the same idea to the bengals helmet because a real bengal tiger fades from white on their underside to orange on their backside. I tried as hard as I could to create this look in paint and this is the best I could do.Tell me what you think.
leafs13
Sorry, it's not really working for me. I think it looks better on SDS's helmet.
Seadragon76
Nice idea. It really is. I just find it odd that an NFL team could use the San Diego State style of helmet.
Shumway
The idea's kind of interesting, but it doesn't look right for a Bengals helmet. Maybe try fading from black to orange, if you're going to use the Bengals.
Cujo
Nice try, but I'm not really feelin it. The helmets are bad enough without the complicated color scheme.
ColeJ
i love it. looks way more tigeresque...
Hat Boy
I think this helmet would fit right in with the Bengals ridiculous cartoon uniforms. It is a perfect example of how somehting can be fashionable, but just not look good.
VitaminD
It's a better use of the fading technique than the debacle SDSU did to its helmets, and it makes zoologic sense. That said, I love what they have now - they're not a perfect representation of tiger stripes either, but they get the point across just fine. But I do like your idea a lot, and it could work. "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.

GeorgesL
I would've just went old school, and go back to when the orange helmets just said "Bengals".
The_Admiral
Probably too subtle to be worth it. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
