As a race fan, I LOVE the idea.

I would incorporate the checkers into the uniform in some way. Although a very small way. Something subtle would be perfect.

Yeah, the 8's could used changed to make them clearer, and I also agree on the wordmark.

As far as tying it into Indiana more, its a racing theme (Indy is the Racing capital of the world), and the colors are from the two major universities (IU and PU).

Look for updates as I get time to do them. Feel free to keep the C&C coming.

Dude, I live in Indiana too.

But for some hick from Kentucky, or Illinois, they probably wouldn't know what you and I know.

I think the alt looks great, however it's too bad you can't really demarkate the location of Indianapolis since it's covered by the flag. Also, I kinda liked the wordmark how it was, to me it signified "movement." Now it's conveying "standing still" and with the stylized I still being slanted, it just doesn't seem to fit as well as it did before. I could be wrong though.

Oh, and the numbers look great. I didn't mind the 8 the way it was before, but it looks much better now.

Great work...if it was a NASCAR project...Dale Earnhardt Jr. will really like it. Why don't you try and back slant the numbers to tie into the racinc car circuit even more.

How about a Colts update instead beause their identity is boring... The ain't the Yankees and Johnny U is gone so a fresh look would be appropriate especially when they stole thaat identity from the city of Baltimore.

And do please explain how the Colts stole their identity? First, it has nothing to do with this concept. Secondly, the Irsays moved the team and kept them as the Colts. Does the name not really fit, yeah it fits more with Baltimore, but thems the breaks. Are there Rams in St. Louis, no unless you count SWAT team battering rams and the Rams at the Zoo.

I really do believe that you should have read the first post, as you would have saw that this is for a Fantasy Team. Some guys play D&D and some have fantasy teams.

So in conclusion Mr. Gameplan, I used to think highly of your work, except for the WNBA stuff, as it was pretty awful for the most part. Also I do believe it might be time for your mistress to make a drive to Indy to see what a real man can do. Cant let a mistress go unused.

P.S. If you are going to burn me, do it in an intelligible way please. I cannot decipher crazy talk. Would have been alot different if you would have provided some C&C. But you didn't. Some people just can't get a logo right the first time unlike your awesome self.

Ok, first of all, when you are trying to give C&C to someone who has obviously put some time, effort and thought into this design, try not to make fun of him and put him down with sarcastic remarks. Even though he doesn't look very 'down' that you made fun of him.

I play D&D too by the way. I defensively drive my dragon around the dungeon. My dragon ate my Dungeon Master too, so I am truly the master of my Dungeon now, not just in my dreams. I feel so complete. Maybe a visit from Melissa would be nice. No more wet dreams for me.

Well here is my first real attempt at C&C.

I love the set especially the details on the pants. Like the use of the old Pats style jerseys and the arched nameplate give it a unique look.

I'm curious as to what the other side of the helmet would look like. Do you plan to use the same logo on both sides or would you use a mirror on the other side so the flag skews to the front on both sides?

To me the wordmark still doesnt have a racey feeling to it, maybe give it a perspective distortion or something. I'm not real sure what to suggest but to me it doesnt make me think racecar.

The only thing I can really critique is that the flag pole on the primary seems a bit too thick, like it's just an arbitrary oval shape. No problems anywhere else.

And, to those who bitch about the slant of the numbers, who cares? Looks fine as is.

MY c & C from the RFL thread:

Like the new number font, but I really don't feel that Indiana is distinctive enough in shape to justify the alt logo. However on the number font, the thick black blocks on the two and 5 look kind of distracting, and I'd wonder if it was possible to elongate the numbers just a hair to create white space to break those up.

And the way you have it laid out right now,it appears you've taken the bold decision to go entirely pants-less on the road. I imagine this to mean that you're going white-oon-white. Personally, I loathe all monochrome looks, so I don't like that.

I've always been hopeless at c&c so I hope that helps.
