paynomind
What on earth is the N. O. city council doing worrying about this? How about feed and clothe people first, then worry about your team's head coach. NCFA Sunset Beach Tech - Octopi ΓΔΒ! officeglenn
Wow ... I've seen city councils deal with some inane and pointless issues before, but this takes the cake. Way to spend taxpayer money, debating on who should be the head coach of a football team whose future is perilous at best in your city.

SEMOSTLfan
I bet that would be good, a division I-AA head coach moving to the pro's. The priorities in that city are screwed up big time. Is this any worse than then-mayor Ed Rendell drafting a city resolution demanding the Eagles draft Ricky Williams over Donovan McNabb? The difference here is that N'Awlins has bigger issues to deal with than worry about who'd be patrolling the sidelines. Why don't we get the city back on its feet, get the place clean, get the schools and hospitals in order, then fix the stadium and get the people back in town before we go imposing our will on a private enterprise like the NFL. "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.
B-Rich
Stuff like that is one reason I am no longer a resident of New Orleans, but a denizen of its 'burbs....hopefully, the council and the mayor will all be gone after the next election (which was scheduled for February but will likely be held in April) It is what it is.
