Michigan Dave
These were the 3 choices, with the second winning. It looks like the back design was going to be the same on all 3 (posted above with the winning shirt), so I'm thinking that Nike must've designed them, and the students chose. Regardless, I like the winning shirt, and will pick it up. Wasn't a huge fan of the top idea, but the bottom one was cool, too.
Lumbergh
i'm not too impressed also, they don't look that intriguing. But the mich. ones rock!
andrewharrington
Whats with the messed up paw print on that one rejected design, I thought cats only had 4 small paw prints not 5. The four-toed paw design is a registered trademark of Clemson University. The five-toed paw is an extremely popular car magnet for Penn Staters. Right, Im sure their specific paw print logo is a trademark of Clemson, but they dont have the trademarked rights to all cat paw print designs. Ive seen loads of stuff in my life for sale with a paw print on it. Yes. We here at Ohio University also have a four-toed pawprint as a registered trademark, though it's been phased out in favor of the attack cat to avoid legal battles with a local man who claims to have designed it way back before collegiate licensing existed. lilgump
Out of the penn st. shirt designs I think that D is the only acceptable one. Or, you could not buy a shirt and just wear a white one to the game... The World Basketball Championship, the Davis Cup, Ryder Cup, Iraq: Every day there's further proof that we, as a nation, are not very good at international competition. NY Jay
Out of the penn st. shirt designs I think that D is the only acceptable one. Or, you could not buy a shirt and just wear a white one to the game... Good call, that sounds like a simple solution to me.Out of the choices, D was the best. B and C looked like they were handdrawn by a teenager.
BroadSt_Bully
I like the concept of this one... it's certainly creative. Not quite done right, though. It makes Michigan Stadium look more like an oval instead of it's rounded rectangular shape.
dwboiler
while were on the topic of big10 football student section shirts, an odd topic btw...here is the purdue shirt for 06.I think it is mediocre...i think the 'pain train' slogan is tacky and the slogan on the back "the herculean wearers of the black and gold" is really really dumb.while the slogans are bad i think the imagery is good, especially the arm from the new boilermaker statue that is next to the stadium.this is a student-submitted design, no campus vote was taken like the others.STORY

HatManTC
for the PSU choices i think D was the better of the group.as for the Foolverines. i thought the 1st one of the group was nicely done.i would mind NIKE using that for Ohio Stadium by RoscoeUA by gingerbreadman

Michigan Dave
Instead of starting a new thread I just brought this one back:Notre Dame Unveiled it's shirt last Friday:FRONTBack Why on earth are they not going with Green? They didn't learn their lesson? Blue does not work. Ours last year in blue were horrible. ND's green was solid (I think they tried gold last year, if I'm not mistaken.)
