HedleyLamarr
now that wasn't so hard, was it? Heh....Yeah, he deserves the right to give his decision at any time, but have a little respect for the organization so they won't get screwed like the Dolphins did when Ricky decided to "retire" just before training camp.... VitaminD
The question I've always wanted to ask him is "How do you get the pronounciation of Far-ve to be said Favre?" Simple. You grow up in Mississippi. "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.
Jigga
6-10 here they come! Why do I get the feeling that next offseason will be eerily similar? He'll only be a handful or so of TD passes behind Dan Marino for the all-time record. As long as he doesn't pull a Roger Clemens, I don't have a problem with him taking his time and coming to a decision. FiddySicks
Way to go Brett!!! Because you waited so long to make this decision that it caused the Pack to make ZERO free agency moves in order to help you in your quest to "Go out the right way". Way to go Brett. This looks like its gonna be a yearly thing. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) I think he?s got a fair shot of taking care of that record this year.Way to go Brett!!! This looks like its gonna be a yearly thing. I don?t understand that argument AT ALL. I?ve been as tired of Favre?s diva routine all this spring (and last) as anyone. But the notion that if he DOESN?T come back we don?t need to get better players anyway is absurd. It shouldn?t matter who is taking the snaps, the team has dozens of holes to fill and if you think Thompson would have acted any differently had Favre made is return clear in December, you?re nuts. Thompson said day 1 that he would not be goated into building through free agency and our relative inactivity this offseason has nothing to do with Brett. I'm not saying he helped anything with his nonsense, but come on. The Official Cheese-Filled Snack of NASCAR

I think when Marino retired, lots of knowledgable football people were saying that it was going to be virtually impossible for someone to eclipse Marino's total. It's the Drive for 25, baby!
