I did try a black outline around the wordmark but liked the burgundy abit more. Either way the one color is out of place because it dosen't tie the wordmark in with the logo. Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys. P. J. I don't think the negative space in the ball needs any shading; that would probably only complicate things. What you've got now is nice and clean.I would tend to agree, though, to either go with the burgundy in the flames or the darker shade of red in the wordmark. I'm also wondering about the edges of the wordmark; they look a little rough. Almost like the ball was done in Illustrator but the wordmark in Paint or something. The white will most likely be home and the orange/yellow will be the clash (at least thats how I think it works).
