The old concept got some slack because the colors were too close to UNLV, so I mage black the primary color demoted red to the secondary. I also dropped the whole "Roadrunners" theme, as I didn't like the logo as much as time went on. The rest of the uniforms is clean and solid, although I would go for a slightly different font for the numbers (never cared for the look of the #1 on that font). I'd probably add a spade, club, diamond and heart to the chip. The chip should be outlined in white to make it stand out better from the shell. Also, you could use 4 chips and spell out RENO. I'd also use a more Vegas-like font, probably something western in nature. And to top that, I'd give the chips an edge to give it a bit of a 3d effect so they look real. Try to emulate that in the logo, same as the logo inside.Just look up a poker chip you like and try to make it look liek that texture wise for the logo. I think it would look cool that way. The third a totally new chip design, and the best IMO. Is it enough? too much? way off? Thanks for the C&C guys.EDIT: I didn't put any ridges on these because these chips don't have ridges. When I first saw it, that was what I thought you were going for. But the thing is, it looks more like an "A" than the "R". And I think I realized why.Your "R" has no texture - it's basically a flat white letter. But the neon sign give the letter depth within the outlines of the letter. The neon allows subtle emphasis of the curves in the letter, and gives it more of an "R" shape.Try going with a red "R" with off-white/pink (or yellow-orange?) neon accents. It'll enhance the curves of the letter and be a closer allusion to what you're basing your design on. I realize this would force a redesign of the casino chip's color scheme, but the "R" needs something more to help it out here. I also like the idea of the 4 chips spelling out "RENO", but you could make it work with what you've done already. "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17. IMO that sign is the biggest ugliest eye sore in all of Northern Nevada (and there are some pretty ugly things in Nor nev).Considering you worked off of that font, and it IS a team for Reno, it looks great (considering how little you had to initially work with). I decided I'd try a new font, and I came up with these. C&C is again appreciated. The 2nd one is the best. Though I would change the colors of the club and spade in the white boxes form red to black.
