Does anybody know what logo will go on thier football helmet?

Personally, I hope its this one on a gold helmet. That would look sweet.

Dr. Kelso: My son is a big baseball fan. Not so much playing it, but more the designing and sewing of uniforms.

Tyler: That's neat.

Dr. Kelso: No, it's not.

Either that or the head logo. Or, just put the "ULM" logo on it.

I wonder what the whole new set will look like. The will have to at least get new jerseys because the old ones had "INDIANS" on the front. I don't know if the pants have any school logos on them, though. Now, if they'd just renovate their stadium. It is a dump.

I do like the bird head but honestly, I think that Rickabaugh is starting to fall into the same black hole as Phoenix in that a lot of their work is starting to look the same. I like their work but it just seems to be getting to the point where there is less and less creativity going on over there. Just my opinion.

I, like Ben Barnes, wholeheartedly disagree with this statement. Phoenix is the worst major sports branding firm not so much because many of their work looks alike in some ways, but more because the execution of them is very, very poor. It's lazy, predictable, busy, and never innovative. Rickabaugh has a clean, simple style that can be, and has been, applied to almost any subject matter. He is great at creating modern versions of classic icons, like Bucky Badger. He creates marks that are easy to read, and near-flawlessly constructed. I would rather have a league full of Rickabaugh logos than a league with one Phoenix logo. At least if they are all made by Rickabaugh, I know they're good.

I still don't have a website, but I have a dribbble now! http://dribbble.com/andyharry

I'm not saying that they are at the same level. Rickabaugh does much better work than Phoenix. I'm just saying that some of their marks are starting to look the same. A lot of their type treatments use similar fonts and styles. If I were paying thousands of dollars I'd want something a little more unique, that's all.

They look good, I guess. I just hate that the PC's have won another battle. I imagine all those blue chip recruits who couldn't bear going to a school with an incensitive mascot will be signing up in droves to be "Warhawks".
