JamieRose Posted September 24, 2006 Share Posted September 24, 2006 i've been on the boards for a little over a year now, and i's working on a big FL project, so i'll call it my 1 year project.Anyway, I am making a complete 32-Team League, with 2 conferences and 4 divions (8 team expansion to be made in a season or 2). I am working mainly on the schedule right now, and that's a giant pain in the rear end.. This one looks alright, but the more you do, the more they will start to look the same. yeah, i noticed that, that's why i'll probably do actual jersey concepts as i go along. True--but there are still ittle things you can do to make them a bit more different--and it's still fun.Still I wish they had kept some of the 2002 options--although overall 2002 had fewer options than later versions. I'll just take small steps in this one, start with an 8 team league, and work my way up from there. as the "seasons" go by, i'll add more and more teams until eventually...anyway, i'm going to pick some teams that i've made so far and work around that. i'll just pick 8 that i like (and have all picked out) with original-ish names and see where i go from there. I kept the cities you selected and added names regardless of previous choice.Division 1 WestSalem, OR Dragons (after the yearly Dragon Boat Race) While I think it's nice to consider my hometown for a football team, we barely have a facility for the Willamette University football team to play in! Also, the Dragon boat races are held on the Willamette River in Portland, not Salem. Perhaps a name like Salem Salmon or Salem Steelheads should be considered... I can't quite tweak it just right, but I think you can see where I was headed.....maybe you can run with it.....I think it needs maybe a snake head thing going on or something. I know dice are usually red with white dots, but to me, green and gold (actually, desert sand) said money and vegas and such, so I played with that for a while.
