Cyclopsis Joe
Gee, you picked the Mets. That's a real shock. I don't speak for democrats, democrats don't speak for me.
HedleyLamarr
You are severely underrating the Dodgers. And for the Mets to shorten the game to 6 innings, they'l have to make it there first. The Mets had a rather cold September, whereas the Dodgers have been relatively warm. Postseason is all about momentum.
NJTank
Mets did win their last 4 games, and the season series against the Dodgers. I will admit I was concerned after 25-1 last week but come on would you expect me to pick against the Mets.THe team the remind me most of is the 1996 Yankees, and Hedley do you remember the 1996 World Series? The Yankees Bullpen won that series any lead after 6 game over while teh Braves could not hold a 6-0 lead in Game 4. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com

The Dodgers have also been playing playoff-like baseball for the past two months. By the way, they enter the postseason on a 7-game winning streak. When was the last time the Mets played a meaningful game?
NJTank
End of July when they took the Brooms to Atlanta www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
tp49
Dear Mets Fans,Before you go talking about the season series record against the Dodgers we have one reminder for you....1988. Sincerely,Kirk GibsonA Western Division team is the worst thing that could have happened to the Mets' playoff chances. They will absolutly need to win games 1 and 2 in NY to take the series. Cyclopsis Joe
End of July when they took the Brooms to Atlanta And that same craptacular Braves team beat the Mets by a combined 25-2 in a two game set in September.Point is, everyone has their ups and downs. I don't speak for democrats, democrats don't speak for me.
FiddySicks
You are severely underrating the Dodgers. No hes not. Theyre going nowhere, just like they always do. Dilbert
I agree with 3 of your 4 picks. I just dont get how a Mets fan picks the Yankees to go on to the ALCS. Signature intentionally left blank
PeytonManningRocks
Tank, you said the bullpen has a weakness?!?! The closer tandem of Saito and Broxton is one of the best in the NL. Saito's ERA is lower than Wagner's, and Broxton's is lower than that of both Guillermo Mota and Roberto Hernandez. And Derek Lowe has been one of the best pitchers in September. Plus, he had that lights-out postseason two years ago.
zig
I agree with all of your picks but after the Twins lost to the A's today I don't know what to say. As a Met's I am most worried about the Dodgers that the Padres and Cardinals. Also, Of course Tank will favor the mets because he is a Met's fan. Can anyone tell me a time when their team was in the playoffs in any sport and they didn't think they could go all the way.
PaperAirplane31
The Dodgers chances just grew enormously.
KevinMcD
I disagree with the Tigers-Yanks, and the Twins-A's. I think the A's will win the AL. They have great pitching, The Big Hurt, and a good closeer in Street.
