You know you have an ebay problem when FOUR jerseys arrive in the mail the same day.

I gotta get me some help.

My newest arrivals were;

A Chicago Blackhawks Red Nike authentic Chelios jersey. Can't decide which patch to go with. Choices are NHL 1992 NHL 75th Anniversary, 1993 Stanley Cup 100th Anniversary or 1992 Stanley Cup Finals (lost to Penguins). One small issue is that the jersey has a captian's "C" on it and Chelios wasn't made captian until later on.

Vancouver Canucks CCM black flying skate jersey. I'm planning on making this one a Pavel Bure #96 with the "A" and the Vancouver Canucks 25th Annversary patch. I've already done this jersey as a Bure #10 so that's why I'm going with #96 on this one.

1996 NHL All-Star Eastern Conference CCM Teal. This one is going to be a Lemieux #66 "A" as worn in Boston. I believe Ray Bourque was captian of the Eastern team being that he was playing in Boston.

Odd story. I saw two these jerseys, the same brand as mine, go for $110 and $202.50 on ebay in previous couple of weeks. Mine? $12.50. Seriously, a savings of $190. Ebay is a weird place sometimes... I'm tempted to write to the second highest bidder of the $202.50 auction and offer it to him for $180.

A 1989-1992 NHL All Star black jersey. This one is also blank and in nice shape. Frequently the heat sealed stars are peeling off of these after all these years. I'm not sure if I'm going to go with a 1989 Lemieux or a 1990 Gretzky. I have the Lemiuex from 1989 already, but it's a medium and too small for me to wear. I have other Gretzky's in this style in black from other years, but to get an XL in this condition is unusual and it was a buy it now, so I didn't want to think on it and miss out.

The next day I also recieved a name and number kit for a Gretzky Rangers WHITE Liberty alternate jersey. This was only worn for one year, 98-99, and I just got the blank jersey a week prior. Now I just have to get someone to sew on the name correctly. The last time I took a Rangers jersey in, they arched the letters like you'd see on a Twins jeresy (radially), even though they are supposed to be arched vertically, like a Red Wings jersey. I made them do it over, but now I don't trust them to do another one.

I've been on a streak lately too, getting a jersey at the house every couple days. I think I've gotten 8 in the past 3 weeks. My best was the Sabres Sean O'Donnel game issued blue away from 1993. It is pure mint condition and the front crest is impeccable craftsmanship of twill and embroidery. It really makes you realize that CCM jerseys of the late 80's and early 90's are top notch. They are what I prefer to get and scour for every night. The ultrafil CCM are my personal treasure hunt. Of course I do dabble in the replica bin now and then, I picked up two home and one away Nordiques replicas from the 90's not the vintage line reissues out now. I like the screened on Fleur-de-lis better. I've got the Bure skate authentic I got on ebay about 4 years ago. Also a Whalers white Sanderson #8. There's a some goodies on there, it just takes persistance and patience.

The house? Are you single? I have 'em sent to work!!

"When did you get that one?!"

"Oh, this one? I've had this one for ages now. You just can't remember them all."

(the really scary thing is she's actually a registered member of this here board...)

Congrats on the Sabres game used one. Nice pickup. I love the blue ones.

Jeff:

Send the Rangers jersey in to Terry Taylor at Exclusive Pro Sports. He is the best. I have ove 300 authentic jerseys and Terry has customized them all. His website is exclusivepro.com

Rob

Actually...they are in posession of about <gulp> thirty of my jerseys right this minute. I can't wait to get the bill for that one...

When I can get the number kits on my own, I have a few people in town that I trust with just sewing (or so I thought!)

300 jerseys? Got a web site? That would be fun to see.

300, hot damn I am green with envy.

I am married so the wife is here during the day to get them. When I get home I have a nice big sarcastic "look what came today, another jersey" waiting for me.

I am trying to stick to just authentics and I have certain ones I am

trying to snag. If anyone ever wants to part ways:

Nike San Jose Sharks both the original and the one with the dazzle fabric.

( can you believe I worked on the damn thing and never bothered to get one)

Nike Ducks jersey, with the dazzle and yellow piping.

(again, worked on it and never got one....what a jackass)

CCM Sabres blue and golds from the 1990's

Pro Player, Koho or CCM Sabres black goatheads

I go through Rockford every 4 weeks going back and forth to Chicago. Thanks for the

tip about this guy, if he's done all yours and you're that satisfied he must be good.

I'm like everybody else on here, I am realy stickler for the details and authenticity.

I can drop some off and pick them up next time I pass by.

I like the way you guys think. I'm an absolute nut for hockey jerseys too, and have been on quite a streak with ebay as well. Even though my Flyers suck bad this year, I'm planning on picking up a few new ones, and have been shopping around for the best place/deal to get them. If you guys say this site is reputable, and have gotten so many jerseys from them, I might have to go with them. I see the prices are pretty great, so I just hope the quality is up to par as well. Thanks for any info guys.

I have a bunch of jerseys but not 300. Maybe we could all trade on here if people have other ones that we want.

I don't have a website, but like you, I have some interesting hockey ones. I have a Langkow #18 Lighting Rain Jersey with the "Shock" numbers. I have a home and road Hartford Whalers jersey from the mid 90s (Navy Blue Road) with Pronger #44 on the home and #27 Marchment on the road. I have a Roenick #97 Coyotes Alt along with the following defunct jerseys:

Canucks Black Road #10 Bure

Capitals Red Road #90 Juneau

Stars Home with Black Sleaves #9 Modano

Sabres Blue Road #16 LaFontaine

Sabres White Home # 89 Mogilny

Jets Road from mid 90s #10 Zhamnov

Flyers Orange #17 Brind'Amore

Penguins mid 90s Home #20 Smolinski

Penguins "Pittsburgh" Road #93 Nedved

Flames Mid 90s Road #25 Nieuwendyk

Bruins 80s Home #77 Bourque

Bruins 80s Road #12 Oates

Kings Black Road #99 Gretzky (3 Color version)

Kings Home #33 McSorley (3 Color version)

I missed out on the Nothstars and old Oilers jerseys. Same with Hartford green jersey and Devils Red/Green ones. Wish I could go back in time to pick up these guys.

I would love to discuss the collection in depth with any of you here. Just send me a PM on the site with your contact info and we can discuss further.

As for customization, I cannot highly recommed Terry's operation enough. He treats me like family and I any issues I have ever had with his work he quickly corrects. In fact, I had a Blue Jays road jersey, the new ones, the first year they came on the market. Terry accidently used the wrong shade of grey in the number. When I pointed this out to him, he paid for the jersey to be sent back to him, redid his work, and sent it back to me at no additional charge. He and his organization are sticklers for correct work. He takes jerseys as serious as we do here. I have been other places to buy customized jerseys but have been so dissatisfied that I end up sending the jersey back to Terry to be stripped and re-customized.

Spyboy, I'd say it was time for an intervention, if it wasn't for the fact that I'm so damn envious of your collection. (I'd also like tips on storage solutions.) I've got about 80 jerseys total to my name, about 40 of which are hockey. I've been good lately, probably haven't bought one in well over a month, maybe two...

...and then a 1997 Jim Edmonds Angels navy alternate faux vest came up on eBay. Damn it all. Sold. I'm such a sucker for sleeve numbers.

Anyone else feeling like it's time for another "List your jerseys" thread?

I outgrew my closet sometime ago. I went to Target and bought this exact thing. It will hold up to 200 pretty well and is made really strong and the ends extend out if you start to get overly crowded. Plus, I have a box of supplies sitting on the bottom bars tucked nicley under the jerseys.

Problem is, I left 200 in the dust a while back and am now facing a storage crisis. I can cram one rack really full without getting busted but, aside from the fact I don't have space for a second rack, a second one would set off some serious alarms around the house that the collection has indeed been growing despite my claims to the contrary.

Sounds like someone needs to call Public Storage... and come clean to the Mrs. Try this approach:

"Hey, at least it's not crack... or other women... or smoking crack with other women."

I have a green anahiem ducks jersey with the dazzle and the yellow piping but the logo is like raised and padded its weird...

It's a nice touch, isn't it? I have the same jersey, with the padded crest. Bauer (whether or not they were an arm of Nike at the time they began doing this, I don't know) did padded crests for some of the IHL teams, like the Wolves, Aeros, and Ice Dogs. I like it, as a touch that further separates authentics from replicas, and gives the crest a certain 3-D feel.
