DG_ThenNowForever
Yep, that's about right. An NCAA school using a player when he's financially beneficial, and closing the door the second he's not. College football would be great if it didn't involve so much money. 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags
twi
Perhaps they're trying to distance themselves after the scandal about the house and all that. i can't remember how that turned out actually.
DEAD!
Maybe Bush confused Southern California with South Carolina? I saw, I came, I left.

Seadragon76
It makes sense in an odd way. Southern Cal doesn't want anything to do with the Bush scandal and they told him to stay out.Plus, the Trojans have bigger issues to deal with... Like a damn good Michigan team. You jumped from Miami to USC!? Of all the places?Anyway, his point was USC told him to screw off now that he plays for a team in Louisiana and therefore, will not exactly be putting butts in the seats. Now, if he'd been drafted by the LA Rams... I don't speak for democrats, democrats don't speak for me.

Are students on academic scholarships forced to be a walking billboard for nike/adidas/reebok? Are academic scholars forced to actually MISS class to keep their scholarships? Are academic scholars forbidden from holding a job so they don't have to be a slave to the ridiculously low stipends offered to athletes?Until the answers to all of those questions are "yes," I don't wanna hear BS about colleges doing athletes a favor by giving them scholarships. It's a business decision in where the schools end up waaaaay ahead... end of story.
Jigga
And how much money did Reggie make while USC was making millions in advertising revenue at his expense?According to Michael Michaels, Reggie Bush made better money that most of us working stiffs did in that same time frame! IT DOES HAPPEN. kids are given the grades through high school because they make the school look good, in college it just continues. and once the school has no more use of them, they throw them out and find another.
