TBGKon
http://www.racingmilestones.com/news/02152007_2.shtml Not sure if this was know, I didn't know until today. It looks like Roush Racing has teamed up with Fenway Sports to created Roush Fenway Racing.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roush-Fenway_Racing
yankeeman161
Really sad sight to see. A great championship NASCAR owner like Jack Roush got into a partnership with the devil (John Henry) and his darn Red Sox group. Good for guys like Biffle, Kenseth, McMurray, Reagan & Carl Edwards, bad for the Red Sox.Now what, Big Papi & Jason Varitek are gonna drive NASCARs into Yankee Stadium and roll over the Yanks?Good for Roush, bad for Sox. THE TOUGHEST S.O.B. IN THE CCSLC!Satan Lives! The Devil On Earth Breathes! -Jim Ross about Vince McMahon, WM 22"THAT WAS THE WORD OF YANKEEMAN"26 World Championships and still going strong. Get used to it Red Sox Nation!"Yankees win! Theeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yankees win!" -John Sterling after every Yankee winTo Be The Yankees, You Gotta Whoooooooooo!!! beat the Yankees!!! griffelh
One more reason to dislike Roush. As if his Japan baiting wasn't enough.

infrared41
All it means is that it will be 80+ years before a Roush driver wins another Cup. Then when it actually happens Roush fans will act like it's bigger than The Second Coming. The Red Sox should have teamed up with DEI. Then they could have had a driver who is every bit as whiney and annoying as Red Sox fans are. Hey, at least now Peter Gammons has a reason to follow NASCAR. Does this mean ESPN will focus 70% of it's NASCAR coverage on Roush Racing?

Does this mean ESPN will focus 70% of it's NASCAR coverage on Roush Racing?Only when George Steinbrenner buys into part of DEI, RCR, Hendrick, Evernham, Petty, Ganassi, or Team Red Bull will this happen. As for the snide reference to Gammons, don't bet on it. As far as the rest of the grid goes, some enterprising team owner will try to go public in the next few years. Any bets on when(and most likely who) the first team will try this? The CCSLC's resident Geelong Cats fan. Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends. Sounds like something from a Rocky & Bullwinkle story arc.

infrared41
As for the snide reference to Gammons, don't bet on it. Was I being snide? I'm sorry. My mistake. Peter Gammons clearly has no interest in The Red Sox. That's why people make bets on how long it will take him to mention the Red Sox when he's doing a guest spot on radio talk shows. If you bet on later than a minute into the interview you will always lose. The smart money is usually on 10 to 15 seconds. Try it sometime.
