Bird Head Logos Project

Inspired by the new Marquette logo, I want to create a wallpaper with all the bird-head logos in American sports (Division I athletics, NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, Minor League Baseball, Minor League Hockey, NBDL).

I'm trying to compile a list. So far, I have:

NBA: Atlanta Hawks

NFL: Seattle Seahawks, Philadelphia Eagles, Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens

MLB: Toronto Blue Jays

NCAA: Boston College, Marquette, Southern Miss

I know there are many more; any help y'all can give me in compiling the list would be appreciated. Thanks.

Louisiana-Monroe (ULM) Warhawks

Florida Alantic Owls

Temple Owls

North Texas Mean Green

Denver University Pioneers

St Joseph's Hawks

Canisius Golden Griffins

Saint Peter's Peacocks

Niagara Purple Eagles

American University Eagles

Rice Owls

some of those are full birds, not just birds' heads, he just wants logos with birds heads

Well, to narrow it down, I'm looking for logos of birds' heads only, from a side view (sorry, Boston College and Temple), with no accouterments like basketballs or attached wordmarks (hats and clothing are OK), that are currently in use (no throwbacks).

I guess my point in this is how little creativity there is in the logo industry; so by giving very specific parameters, the point will be made stronger. I already have 20 logos, and I haven't even hit most of Minor League Baseball.

So far I have:

Arizona Cardinals

Atlanta Hawks

Atlanta Thrashers

Ball State University

Baltimore Ravens

Bowling Green

Illinois State

Iowa

Kent State

Louisiana Monroe

Louisville

Marquette

Philadelphia Eagles

SE Missouri State

Seattle Seahawks

Southern Miss

Toldeo Mud Hens

Toronto Blue Jays

Winthrop

Boston College does have a side view of the eagle head. It's currently on the sleeves of the brand new football uniforms, and also on the shorts of the basketball team's gold alternate uniforms. It's basically the just head of the full-body eagle.

Niagara's logo is just an eagle head on top of an N and a U.

St Joseph's has quite a few versions that are head-only.

Denver's logo is a stylized eagle head.

What file format are you working with? You might be able to find many of the team's variations on wallpapers or through marketing/identity guide pdf files.

Toledo has a new logo.

Also, check out the Idaho Falls Chukars, Delmarva Shorebirds, Great Lakes Loons, Johnson City Cardinals and Myrtle Beach Pelicans.

I saw profile views for just about all those teams, although they might require some erasing of background.

Thats good so far. You should ( don't have too ) maybe have icon somewhere , telling the team name for that bird. If its already on your mind , then i apologize for brining it up again lol.
