I guess he says he releases it different, but the article sounds stupid when they call it a combination between a slider and a fastball seeing as the slider is already a variation of the fastball.

The article says Slider and a Cut Fastball, IIRC.

The "Slutter;" doesn't sound like an appropriate name for a pitch in baseball.

Maybe if he garbled the pronunciation to "slaughter", it might work.
