IowaFan26
Hey. Now the game was great, coming down to the end and waging on the leg of you know who to save it from overtime and possible defeat, but what'd you think of the commercials? My favorites were more towards the beginning.* Bud Light - Dog Trick* Budweiser - I Wanna Be A Clydesdale* Bud Light - Cecil's Bikini Wax* Dodge - Monkey On Your Back* AOL & OCC - All of them, this year's version of the Wazzup Guys* H & R Block - Willie Nelson Advice Doll* Budweiser - Ref's Training* NFL Network - Tomorrow (We're All Undefeated)* Chevy - "Holy S---" Soap In MouthThose are just some of the ones I saw, I used the commercials to get food too, because the game was good during the second half.Post your favorites and then we'll get a poll going tomorrow to decide on maybe a CCSLP Super Bowl Commercial Champion for our favorite. Roger Clemente
That one where the guy is driving the car in silence and then stops and has the sound catch up to him is completely illogical. He'd have to driving approximately 1050km/h at 0 degrees Celcius (or about 630 mph at 32 F) for that to work and I have high doubts he could navigate that S-curve.That one gets a thumbs down from me.That H&R Block one was gold.I should film my Mentos commericial ideas and send them in.--Roger "Time?" STL FANATIC
Thats a shame there were a few classics this year as always.I didn't really think there were any classics. I think the best commericals were during the season. The Leon commercials, the Ref commercials with the first down and drama plus the holding one that was only shown once (I have my theories)...others... vicfurth
The Leon commercials...Oh, man, those were pure gold. My fave this year had to be the horse, but these aren't the best I've ever seen. Think back to the mid-90's, when the games were over before they started and the commercials were the best ever. Three words, my friends... Bud... weis... er (frogs).P.S. Also the donkey dreaming of being a Budweiser Clydesdale..."I even got hair extensions on my feet."
Ez Street
there were a few funny ones, but for the most part they sucked. I hate when people get worked up about commercials. I watched it for the game, to hell with all the other fodder. Sorry but that's just my opinion i could be wrong. @DavidStreeter
NJTank
Well the factthat the commericals are done the way they are makes the Super Bowl the veent it is. It is part of the package. Most games we watch teh commercials are times for bathroom break or snack break but duringthe Super Bowl we try to wtahc teh commericlas too. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
Joshawaggie
this year was better than the last couple though, still not as 'action packed' as it was like in the mid-late '90's. @josh_j12 CFA- Fargo Bobcats

Roger Clemente
I just watch channel CBS and I get them fine.
