Houston Texans are Rebel Leaders

How could they come up with such a great logo and then pair it with a silly, half-baked, recycled name?

You mean like the proposed "Oklahoma City Wranglers" of the NBA?

Yes, tired and old recycled names run rampant in that region of the country. They're as comforting and American as Mom's Apple Pie, Foot Rubs and Budweiser. (Not in that particular order)

OK wait so honestly, what the hell's up with that flag? These people actually borrowed an American sports team's logo for their political party? That's so totally pathetic.

And what's wrong with the Texans? Just cuz it's a name that's been used before it's bad? What woulda been better? I think they have one of the classiest looks in the league, and before Andre Johnson went down they were a force. There seem to be a lotta bitter Dallas fans on here.

Silly and half-baked...imagine what people would say on this board if an expansion team started today and named themselves the Packers. It's simple and classic, just like their logo.
