Puck
The lion shown there is in the Premier League logo, and wildly different than the three lions on the FA crest.Just asking. If I'm wrong I'm wrong.
Gothamite
Okay, you're wrong. Premier League lion:England national team lion:Pretty distinct.are the EPL lions on the numbers standard for all the clubs?Yup. That new font was introduced for the 2007-2008 season, I believe, and the lions are on all the numbers.Correct - all teams wear those numbers in Premier League matches. Some teams wear custom numbers in their non-League matches. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
gordie_delini
technically they're not allowed to wear those numbers in non-Football Association matches, for example the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Cup. Any FA match (including Cup matches) they wear the league numbers.
Gothamite
I'm guessing that most teams fall back on the manufacturers' standard set for those matches.Arsenal used to use Premier League numbers in the Champions League, only without the lions. ferrousoxide66
You could trade it in for something better. I'd say Crouch, but Liverpool was dumb enough to send him away.Liverpool should have never brought that giraffe aboard, pure comedy he was.I'm sure we'll be seeing him light it up for Pompey. Or not.
