Chaddoesdesign
I'm pretty much new here, but I love sports and sports logos. So I thought I try my hand at redesigning my favorite football team's logo/jersey.For the logo, I just cleaned up their 1965 logo, redrawing the legs and adding hair, and tried to kept the uniforms classic but mordern. Comments and Critiques welcome!I have no idea how to post images, they seem to not be loading, so I'll post the links.http://i404.photobucket.com/albums/pp122/chaddoesdesign/Fun/home.jpghttp://i404.photobucket.com/albums/pp122/chaddoesdesign/Fun/alt.jpghttp://i404.photobucket.com/albums/pp122/chaddoesdesign/Fun/away.jpg

CS85
I find nothing really wrong here. Could use more stripes on the socks for sure, maybe a stripe or 2 on the sleeves. Other than that I think these would look really nice! Quote "You are nothing more than a small cancer on this message board. Chaddoesdesign
Thanks guys. I tried to add a side stripe but it came out un-proportionally. I will try a few new things.
Chapeeko
The first thing that strikes me is the numbers are way too low. Secondly I would darken the blue a tad and it would look much better. Also maybe add an outline to the numbers and add more striping. Besides that it is very clean and good.
Brave-Bird 08
Clean and good. You said you are new, and most people's first posts arent anywhere up to snuff.I have issues with this, as a concept, thoughthe logo update is good, but the wordmark is wayyyy too generic for me.as for the uniforms, im not liking the grey pants on the home, or the faintness of the grey on the road pants. Also, the collar style is sleek and modern, while the rest of the uniform is very plain and old school. not a good mix, to me.the numbers are too plain.also, the presentation is kind of weak. there arent any numerals on the shoulders, or sleeves, which is required in the NFL. Also, you left the bill logo off the road jersey. not sure if that was intentional or not, but usually a logo placement on a jersey is consistent in all three sets.if you fixed in those areas it would be a GREAT concept, considering you are new...and your presentation looks good as far as the sheet and stuff...you just need to give this more detailed attention
The Impaler
The first thing I noticed is no logo on the road jersey. I actually really like the colors and the lighter blue. Think this is very sharp.I do have a problem with the logo, I really like it close up, think the shape is very realistic, but when it's on the helmet and smaller it loses a little in the translation. I am no artist so I can only tell you that much, unfortunately no suggestions as to how to reconcile this. Also not a fan of the white/grey facemasks. That is just personal preference for me, but I think a red facemask would really make it pop. And as BB said, need to add the shoulder numbers per NFL rules. lost_limey
The home ste says "NY Giants" quite heavily with the grey pants.
untvar
It feels very retro, like the 1965 uniforms. The simple buffalo silhouette: I don't think professional designers will go back to that style unless there's a worldwide technological crash. They should try to use something like in your designs.

Ted Cunningham
like the buffalo logo. really nice.Agreed. Great use of this logo. I've always thought that it'd be a great way to go "throwback" for the Bills, but still be connected to the modern charging buffalo.I'm not a fan of the light grey pants or the numbers. The numbers are too big, too far down, and just not the right kind of number. If you're looking for something curvy, go for Athletic Gothic. It's got a nice throwback vibe to boot.
