crashcarson15
Hello LA area members. My mom and I are going on a trip to Disneyland this June and are wondering how you could get from the Howard Johnson's by Disneyland (or anywhere around Disneyland) to Angel Stadium and back for a 7:00 game. Thanks for any advice.
FiddySicks
Mapquest would be a good start. It's extremely close, hop on Katella, pass under HWY 5, and it's less than two miles apart. crashcarson15
Sorry, I meant to clarify. Not looking for directions but a way to get there. We won't have a car... on my previous trip to Anaheim I can't remember if it's walkable or not...

HedleyLamarr
Head straight until you smell it, then turn left and walk until you step in it....

Still MIGHTY
Yeah like Bucfan said, it's walkable but it's still a pretty good walk. There is the ART Route like dfwabel said as well, as well as the OCTA buses. | ANA | LAA | LAR | LAL | ASU | CSULB | USMNT | USWNT | LAFC | OCSC | MAN UTD |
oddball
Which Holiday Inn are you staying at? The one on Ball Road? I would suggest to use the Anaheim Resort Transit as I see more of them around than I do OCTA because of cutbacks to OCTA. I work in Anaheim and live 15 minutes west of Disneyland. Which game are you going to?

Which game are you going to?It's the HoJo's right by the interstate about a 10-minute walk from the park. We would think about going to either the June 25th or 26th night games against the Rockies. It would probably be a decide around 4:00 that day while at the park that we'd be going to the game that night.

During the summer they're open till midnight and have a pretty good re-entry policy. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) DCA during the day, go see the Angels/BoSox, then back to DL at night. Park Hopper passes are your friend. Welcome to DrunjFlix
oddball
Interstate? Oh yeah, you mean the 5 Freeway. If you use the word Interstate around here, people will give you this perplexed look. What's a Park Hopper? Oh yeah I have a Park Hopper on steriods, an Annual Pass.

I have the annual pass without the "buying it" part. My sister has a silver pass her and 3 people get in any park for free anytime.

Of course, the only park that interests me is Epcot. I will say, that the Toy Story shoot-'em-up game at Disney Hollywood Studios was pretty cool.Like Lee said, there's way too much awkward wildlife that roams Disney each day. The farther away you stay from Disney, the better.
See Red
Being in the military I'm pretty sure I get free admission to any Disney park, or Busch Gardens for that matter. Maybe Universal Studios too.

It's like 10% or less, and only when they damn well please. You think a major corporation like Disney isn't gonna do all they can to take as much of your money as they can simply because you protect their right to do so?
