DeMaurice Smith and Aaron Rodgers Meet with Packer Fans to discuss labor situation.

On Monday, Packers players voted to become the latest NFL team to give the union approval to decertify in the event of a lockout. I think they picked Green Bay as one of the first site to personally address fans is that Green Bay is the only team which makes their finances public so is could be easier for the NFLPA to state their case if shareholders were among the group of 300 present.

A bump because the NFL today announced a refund policy for 2011 season

Club seats and PSL refunds will be at the decision of the individual teams, but general admission seats are under the refund policy. Most teams sent out playoff ticket invoiced in the last week.

And with that the PR war begins. NFL is going with the "See, we don't want a work stoppage, we would loss money, we would have to refund your money, we are pals" This is designed to counteract the NFLPA's "we are working guy with a greedy boss, we are common folk like you." This is all just PR to try and make the fans turn against one side.

I'm more interested to see how many underclassmen stay in college in order to play versus risk being drafting and potentially not playing.

(MLF) Chicago Cannons,  (IHA) Phoenix Firebirds - 2021 Xtreme Cup Champions

(WAFL) Phoenix Federals - WAFL World Bowl XII Champions (Defunct)

If you have a change to be drafted in rounds 1-3, you should go as opposed to play another season in NCAA and possibly get injured, thus hurting the future draft status.

Plus there's a chance a theoretical rookie pay scale would only begin to apply to 2012 draftees.

Now that this is happening, I think there will deffinetly be more AFL and UFL on TV. And more College football on NBC and FOX(there's only been one game on NBC this year). But now there's an NBA lockout, Brandon Marshall can't try out for the NBA.

One game? NBC carries Notre Dame full time.

As far as the UFL, they do not have a contract in terms what we typically see in sports. They UFL buys their time on Vs. and then sells the advertising. In terms of HDNet, Mark Cuban is a minority shareholder, so he airs the games since he has a premium network.

Umm...NBC and Fox need to sign these things called "contracts" with the various Conferences to get the TV rights, and the games where you actually get bang for your buck are already spoken for.

Also, NBC did that whole "AFL" thing and it was a ratings disaster. Poker outperformed the AFL.

/Dear God, no Fox college football. Ever. I beg of you. Them losing the BCS contract was a wonderful thing to happen for college football.

To be precise, NBC carries Notre Dame's HOME games.

And what other teams does NBC cover full time with web pages like Notre Dame Central?

That IS full time.
