Swiss
Before of talking about Country Branding, let's read a bit about it at Wikipedia and also read about Place Branding. At first time some places and later some cities started to show the good side of theirs. Then logos were created to identify such efforts. And branding countries was the next step. Here we're going to see some countries "logos". Swiss
When did Tasmania become a country? Same question with Andalucia (Spain). Well, the point is the Place Branding before the concept of Country Branding... that's why Tasmania and Andalucia are sporting "logos". BBTV
These are simply tourism logos - I'd hardly call it national branding. That being said, this logo is very fitting... for multiple reasons "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed." kc51design
Fraser, did you do that NZ tourism logo? It looks like your Alternative Rugby project, similar typeface. I dig NZ, as well as Argentina and Australia, but my #1 is South Africa. Those beads represent SA perfectly, and the flag is so pretty. lockerroom51
