OchentaYOcho88
My letterman jacket, I was a three year football letterman at Hoopeston Area High School home of THE Cornjerkers. We did pins for your first letter in each sport then after each additional year you'd recieve a bar to wear under the first sport pin and a star pin for captain status. I either lost all my pins, they broke off or removed them. I'm that douchebag that still wears his jacket when it's bitterly cold here, never had anything as warm. I graduated from Denair High School in 2008:Here is a close up of my Block D:My favorite part of my jacket is the back. I was a two year varsity Starting Center. I wanted the back to have something to do with Football but wanted something unique so I used this:Here is a close up of my sleeves:

FiddySicks
Here's mine. I wanted this jacket SO bad, but I also wanted it minimalist, no stripes around the collar, wrists or waist, minimal patches, and I didn't want it big and baggy like most of my buddies had it. Unfortunately it never fit properly so I hardly wore it. I lettered in football, track and field, wrestling, and baseball, but never attached the baseball, wrestling, or track patches because I figured itd be a huge waist to spend any more money on something I never wear. Honestly, this was one of the biggest waists of money I own. And though Admiral wasn't exactly tactful in expressing it, he does make a bit of a point. Letterman jackets definitely give off somewhat of a negative vibe so it was hard to wear one even back in high school. Nowadays I wouldn't be caught dead in my high school letterman jacket. I know too many "Uncle Rico's" who still rock theirs. At my last college I was on the inaugural Rugby team which was awarded varsity status during my second season. I was sent a letter saying that, if I wanted to pay for it, I could get a letterman jacket. I declined. RyanMcD29
Only the football team at my high school got letterman jackets. To be quite honest I haven't seen many on Long Island either. Guess some areas and regions don't really follow along with that tradition Twitter: @RyanMcD29

Just a lot of sweats that they hand out periodically during the year.
