The Moss rumors have been out there for a while now, how he would love to play for Rex Ryan and all that. While I've never been a "Randy Moss guy", I suppose it can't hurt to replace Braylon with a borderline HOFer like Moss. If he does sign, Moss better leave his ego at the door. What horse spit. How many times has he cut a guy? Why cant Brown honor contracts?The team's right to cut a player at any time was collectively bargained and agreed to by the players. It's essentially fine print in any contract, so it's not like he's not honoring the deals. In fact, it's the very basis for the large signing bonuses that the stars get, since that's they're way of essentially guaranteeing a certain amount of money. It's a trade off - large signing bonuses but non-guaranteed contracts, or like MLB where the contracts are guaranteed and there's not large up-front bonuses. The argument that the teams don't honor contracts is really not a good one. Exactly. Before players were talked about, I was thinking a 1 and 3 or something like that. I'd take DRC and a 2 in a heartbeat at this point since it fills an immediate need and I think that their 2 will be a good one, even with Kolb.
