I just wish they'd go with yellow instead of metallic gold so the MD flag segment would work in the logo a little better.As I said earlier, I think that the Islanders logo is the worst. Asethically, it's well porportioned, consistant, and it communicates what they wanted it to. Also, it's recognizable, readable at virtually all sizes, and it's well liked by its fanbase and players. What logo is there for a team called the "Roughriders" other than a horse?Problem is, Calgary already uses one when they should be using a big group of horses (a single horse is not a stampede).This is sacreligious for me to say considering a relative of mine is their all time leading passer, but Edmonton has the worst in the CFL. Instead of using an igloo, they insist on being the Packers' red-headed stepchild... Actually I don't mind their current uniforms--I'm a little tired of how much it's copied though...And their current colours are way better than the last ones.Their current logo is also a vast improvement over the last one, but I still don't like it, it looks too "stencillized" liek a kid drew it from stencil shapes, but I'm also not a Bronco fan, so if Bronco fans like it--hey no problem...For a good horse logo that's not currently in use--the Baltimore Stallions of the CFL's US experiment ahd a great logo--too bad Denver couldn't have bought it...I was going to say the Raiders--the logo is good except for the face--he looks like John Wayne poorly miscast and the helmet doesn't fit too well, but I like the concept.
