BRM_PTX
I did this mainly to break away from the Green Bay G that Georgia currently has. I think the absence of Atlanta being in the logo adds to it. Then I told that teacher lady the only three letters I need to know are U, S, and A. drdougfresh
Sorry, but this isn't working for me. At all. It looks like a crumpled up G. I would look at other ways to incorporate the state shape.
thespleenenator
It has potential, but right now, I agree with the Fresh Prince of Doug-Air. It looks like a crumpled up G. Why you make fun of me? I make concept for Auburn champions and you make fun of me. I cry tears.Chopping off the dicks of Filipino boys and embracing causes that promote bigotry =/= strong moral character. Lights Out
Awesome idea, but the execution isn't quite there. Work on the linework a bit. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/
BRM_PTX
Awesome idea, but the execution isn't quite there. Work on the linework a bit.Thank you, I made this in literally five minutes but I was just trying to get the point across. Then I told that teacher lady the only three letters I need to know are U, S, and A.
AnythingChicago
I agree with Lights Out; the idea is great. But I'd really, REALLY like to see you clean this up. It could be great. If it really took you five minutes to do that, then put in another hour and -BOOM- perfection.
TylerBray8
You could make it look like the state of Georgia but with straight lines instead of the crumpled up lines. Good idea though.
andrewharrington
Yeah. A real slick, simplified outline of the state would be great. I still don't have a website, but I have a dribbble now! http://dribbble.com/andyharry [The postings on this site are my own and do not necessarily represent the position, strategy or opinions of adidas and/or its brands.]
Jawja
The concept is a fantastic idea, but the execution.. not so much. A detailed/cleaner version of it would be amazing.
north dakota
I agree with everyone else on this one. Woah! You think I'm Cody? My name is Carl Scott Simone and we just happen to share a birthday. BIG DEAL.
oaklandhusker
Awesome idea, but the execution isn't quite there. Work on the linework a bit. My thoughts, exactly. Streamline the state.
BlueSky
The problem with using the state profile for a logo is that it looks like it has a huge beer belly. After 10 years living in Georgia myself, all I can say is go figure.
Spearhead
Not looking to hijack the thread or steal the idea, but here's what I came up with:I was intrigued by the original idea.
north dakota
I would make the G kind of sublimated into the state of Georgia, when it's a black G on red it stands out too much. Woah! You think I'm Cody? My name is Carl Scott Simone and we just happen to share a birthday. BIG DEAL.
BRM_PTX
Alright guys I'm working on it, will post when I am done. Thank you for your responses.
