I don't know how official this website is, but according to http://fcsnow.com/fcsplayoffs.aspx these are the first round matchups. (I may need to edit if this source is not legit)

1st Round - November 26

Albany at Stony Brook

Central Arkansas at Tennessee Tech

Norfolk State at Old Dominion (Hmmm, interesting. Battle of Norfolk schools)

James Madison at Eastern Kentucky

Hotter Than July > Thriller

Boy the geography part of making this bracket kicked App State in the behind. GA Southern is legit...

I can't argue with the teams that made it. Any bubble team only has themselves to blame.

App State Mountaineers / Alabama Crimson Tide / Atlanta Braves / New York Jets / Atlanta Hawks

That's completely correct.

Damnit, if Youngstown State would've just beaten 1-9 Missouri State at home the week after going on the road to beat NDSU, they'd be in. <_<

Predictions (sure to go wrong):

First Round Winners:

Albany (NY)

Central Arkansas

Old Dominion

James Madison

Second Round Winners:

Sam Houston State

Montana State

UNI

Montana

GA Southern

Appalachian State

Towson

North Dakota State

Quarters Winners:

Sam Houston State

Montana

GA Southern

North Dakota State

Semis Winners:

Champion:

GA Southern

I wouldn't be shocked if Old Dominion screwed up my bracket royally. However, I don't think that they can run the table the first time with the big boys.

Would love to see it play out like this!

After laying a big egg on Saturday against our arch-rival Griz, I hope my Bobcats are more focused. They had a 9 game win streak and had ascended to #1 in the polls, but they played this weekend like they expected to win because of the ranking.

I'm taking it one game at a time, not making any predictions. But other than the final result, the ultimate for me would be for the Cats to beat the Griz and North Dakota State (who we lost to last year in the playoffs) on the way to the championship. Nothing better than a revenge tour!

The last time New Hampshire and Montana State met, it was in the playoffs in 1976. The Bobcats won on their way to the national championship. Hopefully, history repeats itself!

No Eastern Washington? No red turf?

Starting the season 0-4 to makes it hard to defend a national championship. That said, they probably would have been in had they not lost to Portland State. And they'd be riding a 7 game winning streak, just like last season.

Injuries just killed the Eagles this season. With Bo Levi Mitchell at the helm, they would have been a scary matchup for anyone in the playoffs.

Should be nice weather in both Bozeman (for New Hampshire at Montana State) and Missoula (for Central Arkansas at Montana) - 30s with some chance of precipitation. That's got to be a relief for Central Arkansas, especially.

I remember a playoff game in Bozeman between MSU and Furman where it was 18 degrees (which is fairly warm), but the Paladins were freezing their butts off. The Bobcats jumped to a 24-0 lead in no time and coasted the rest of the way.

New Hampshire and Central Arkansas might be affected by the altitude a little - Bozeman is just under a mile high, Missoula is 3,800 feet or so.
